A: Your camera may be out of range (if more than 25 feet from the router) and can become disconnected due to weak signal. If your camera is mounted too far from your Wi-Fi router, you may need to extend your Wi-Fi network’s range using an extender, boosters or additional Wi-Fi access points. Nest cameras can connect to your Wi-Fi on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bandwidths, but 5GHz bandwidth has a smaller coverage compared to 2.4GHz. A: I had the same thing happen when I hooked my camera up to the cable but I found out that the outlet in which my cable was plugged into was connected to the light switch for my attic light, also check the way that it connects to the camera, it actually goes in backwards
A: i think the shorter cable in the box with cameras are for charging the camera battery. No other cables were in my box... A 10m cord, that I had to buy separately, is for outside use to connect camera to house bypassing battery only use. Hope this helps
