This is my first pixel watch and I'm really enjoying it. Been using Galaxy watches but switched over to pixel phone and watch for a change of pace. The battery life and charging speed are both game changers for me. I never slept with the other watches because I knew I wouldn't have time to charge them before going to work the next morning. Those watches were just another thing to charge overnight. Now I put it on while I shower or doom scrolling before bed and it is ready for sleep tracking. Big fan!

Having been a smart watch junky since the Moto 360, and used nearly every major brand, including a brief venture into the iOS ecosystem with both the Apple Watch Ultra 1 and 2; this device is, by far, my favorite so far. Previously, my favorite was probably any of the Samsung Galaxy watches I had or maybe the Apple Watch Ultra 2. Samsung definitely won back then on aesthetics and battery longevity, while Apple was weaker on those but exceptionally durable. While this new watch doesn't match the 4-5 day battery life I sometimes saw on older Samsung models with most features enabled, it easily surpasses the Apple Watch Ultra 2's runtime (which typically managed about a day and a half). With features like the Always-On Display and lift to talk to gemini enabled, I get over two days. If you disable some of the more demanding options, achieving 3 to 4 days seems very realistic. Where this watch truly shines is its software and seamless phone integration (I've gone back to android with a Pixel 10 Pro). Everything feels effortless. It successfully moves the expected smartwatch functions off my phone and onto my wrist, with minimal setup. My main frustration with the Apple Watch was that it often felt like a standalone device rather than a true supplement to the phone. Transitions between the two weren't as smooth, and it often seemed to push me toward performing tasks on the small screen that I didn't necessarily want to do there. While the Pixel Watch 4 can operate independently, I appreciate it most when it functions exactly as intended: present contextually when I need it, without forcing me to navigate numerous apps in a tiny menu." Durability could be a bit better, it doesn't feel as substantial as the ultra 2 did, but it's also completely user repairable (including the battery!) so I don't really worry. All in all I love this watch and look forward to getting many more years out of it than I have on past watches since I can replace the battery!
