A: The Floaty does not add any waterproofing to the cameras. It's designed to keep it afloat while in use around water in case you lose hold of it. However, all of the cameras that this Floaty can be used with are already waterproof on their own down to 33 feet, so you can take underwater photos or videos with them whether you also use the Floaty or not.
Q: Can this be used with either the head or chest mount ?
A: When used with the Floaty, the GoPro can definitely connect to those mounts, but the range of movement may be limited some so you can't angle the camera exactly as you'd like. If that's the case, there are extension arms and quick-release mounts that raise the GoPro further off of the mount that should give you more room to make adjustments.
Q: Does it block the microphonrs??
A: It may block some of the microphones, but you should still be able to get good audio even when the HERO9 Black is in the Floaty.
