For this price it's going to be hard to beat

I pick this up on a whim because I had a gift card to Best buy and I had pretty much anything else in the store you may want and this was the only thing I did not have. I picked this up and a white 6x8 ft tarp somewhere else. I've got my projector set up about 6 ft from the screen and I would say it comes in right about 70 in. Moving it further back. It gets even larger. I've got my Google Chromecast plugged into the HDMI port and powered by the USB port. So I only have one cord from the projector to the wall. I have mine set up on a table and a box because I don't have a stand yet. But the projector is between me and the screen and the speaker is loud enough for television on an outside patio. For music, you definitely want an external speaker. So far every Bluetooth speaker I have tried has worked. Just make sure that speaker is not already paired up and connected to any other device. Bluetooth on the projector is turned off by default so you would need to go through the menu and turn that on but as soon as you do it only takes a few seconds for whatever speaker you're using in pairing mode to connect. If you turn that speaker off it will revert back to the internal projector speaker. I can also confirm that I have two party speakers that link together through Bluetooth and it will connect to one and send the signal to the other. I haven't found anything that doesn't work yet. I don't use a flash drive mainly because most of all of my files are mp4 format. This projector only reads AVI and MOV and I just don't feel like converting everything. So I either mirror or cast from my phone, everything from YouTube or YouTube music videos and Hulu. And from what I understand, you can plug in a Roku or a Roku stick or a fire stick or Android TV. The focus is pretty easy to dial in and it's pretty clear. Even on old 1960s and '70s TV shows. I wish it had a left right horizontal tilt because you may need to mount it off center of your screen, but the vertical up and down does help to accommodate whatever particular height you have your screen in relation to the projector. It gets pretty bright but I had to set mine almost to the maximum and this is in a fairly dark covered patio area. You can adjust the contrast brightness, the color and things like that. But I found older shows look better with the warm screen color selection. Even old standard definition square screen shows come up in 16 to 9 ratio format. Really clear. You'll get the best quality of picture by using a matte flat white background. I'm cheap so a $12 tarp was basically what I was willing to spend and I'll work on getting the creases out of it later. But I would say all in all this is a solid projector for what you're paying. It's actually got a lot of good connectivity, bells and whistles. So the remote works just fine but since most everything I send to the projector comes from my phone. I just max out the volume on the projector and use my phone to control the volume or the playback. If you're having trouble with Bluetooth connectivity, just make sure you have nothing connected to the speaker you're wanting to use. Make sure you have good Wi-Fi signal if you're doing any streaming from a phone or a fire stick or Roku. But I would say it's definitely probably fairly portable. There's nothing heavy about it and if you've got a plug or a 40 volt inverter somewhere, you should be able to get at least one. Maybe 2 hours runtime out of it. Battery powered. But don't be mistaken. This is not battery powered. You can plug it into an AC port on an inverter. So as long as you've got a background somewhere and a plug this projector will go just about anywhere you want it to go. My space does not allow me to get the full 110 to 150 in display. I've read from different sources about the maximum display size, but I figure 70 to 100 inches is probably big enough for most people. So to wrap it up, it's fairly easy to use it does everything you need it to do and it's got a great price point. I would recommend this projector. And I don't know that I've ever had a necessarily poorly made at GPX product before. And I found those at the dollar store 30 years ago and they serve their purpose then as well. So I don't think the brand name is anything to run from either.

Good projector for a cheaper price.

Good projector for the price. I was trying to find the most lumens for the lowest price. This 2000 lumen projector was the best deal I could find. I dont think that the 150" maximum is actually practical, the picture would be hard to see at that point. But, with the 150" screen I bought for it (see attached photo) I have some room to play and not stress that I am 100% on center. The on board speaker is quiet, you'll want an amp or something. The bluetooth speaker option works BUT there is a 2 second delay, which is terribly frustrating. We ended up turning off the bluetooth speaker and using a small shower speaker using the headphone jack. I look forward to using this in the summer for some outdoor movie parties.

    Decent projector

It's worth the price, and it's a good project for casual use, especially if you're able to set it up ~10' away from the whatever you're projecting onto. It's worth it to shell out for a usb-hdmi adapter because the streaming/casting is pretty limited
