Q: my chain keeps disengaging redo connections chain disengages as soon as I start to use it

A: Hello HStump - Chains stretch with use. When new, they stretch more. The tension on a new or newish chain should be checked and tightened every 20 minutes of cutting or so, it can get away from you fast. This is normal stretching.
