On October 5th, 2022 I received my $350, Greenworks, leaf blower. I was eagerly awaiting to use it because I had recently returned a blower/mulcher that didn't fit my needs. So, I figured, I'd gotten what I'd paid for. Long story short. On October 30th, I started the blower and after 10 - 15 minutes it quit. I troubleshot, recharged and attempted again. Same result. I returned the blower November 1st, 2022 to Best Buy after two uses and was told it could not be accepted back after 14 days. Well my leaves wasn't ready yet. I called Greenworks customer service to be told that the 80 volt lithium battery that comes with the Greenworks, $350 blower is 10 - 15 minutes standard working time. So I asked the obvious questions. Question # 1: Do you mean to tell me I just purchased a $350 blower that only operates 10 - 15 minutes? Answer: Yes. Second question: How much does it cost to purchase a battery that has more operating time? Answer: If you purchase the 5.0, 80 volt lithium battery you will get 60 - 70 minutes of operating time. Third and final question: How much dies this battery cost? Answer: $415 USD. So I now have a $350 blower that I can't return, can't use and can't sell with a staight face. This is not a quality product. I'm on a fixed military retirement income. Retired, disabled military veteran I cannot afford or have the extra means to spend my money on something I can't use. Best Buy HELP!!! I've attached pictures to give you an idea of just how far 10 - 15 minutes go on a 0.46 acre corner lot

Ive been using a ryobi gas handheld jet blower, the 160mph, 520cfm. This greenworks is a massive upgrade! The backpack is small and light, and the blower is powerful. I like the cruise control hold so you dont have to continiously hold the trigger. I do wish that cruise control trigger lock had notches instead of just being a spring trigger, because i keep bumping the cruise control lever lowering the speed with my hand by accident. Same with the trigger, when depressing the trigger half way and moving the blower handle, the trigger is too sensitive and fluctuates power as im moving it. It may take some getting used to, but that is my only complaint with it so far! This actually blows leaves and pine needles better out of rockbeds than the ryobi. It might be because im able to get a steeper angle with this than the hand held blower, but this has been awesome to use. No more fatigue arms or bruised ear drums. Highly recommend, especially at huge total tech discounted price!
