Q: Will this work on the switch 1?
A: Yes
Q: Will this digital code work for the original switch as well?
A: It does work with Switch 1! It’s a little wonky, but you need to redeem the code through Nintendo’s website. It will tell you that you do not have anything that is compatible, ignore that and redeem it anyway. Then the game will be available for download through your Virtual Game Cards on your account.

Join Mario on an epic paper-adventure to collect the Crystal Stars before the X-Nauts do! The nefarious X-Nauts are after the treasure behind the Thousand-Year Door!
