Q: What is the max continuous run time before the unit will overheat?
A: Hello, the device is recommended to be run for no more than 60 minutes on with a 40 minutes off cycle. There is a built in fan to assist with cooling the motor. Thank you for being an HP customer!
A: It will handle staples. The specs don't mention paperclips, but if the metal they're made from is no larger than you'd find in a normal staple it should handle those as well.
Q: What security level is this shredding too?
A: This is a micro shredder - pieces are much smaller than the shredder the HP replaced.
