A: Thank you for the question. Since this is a Chromebook, and the Chrome operating system has its own built-in security, no other virus or malware program is required. Word, Excel. PowerPoint - Microsoft 365 can be accessed online using your existing or new account. Google has its own suite of similar apps (Google Docs (similar to Word) Google Sheets (similar to Excel), etc. These apps are free and mirror the Microsoft alternatives. The Chromebook arrives with a power cord/adapter and quick start guide. Simply enter your Google/GMAIL password or register for a free Google account and you're ready to access all possibilities.
Q: What is the AUE date for this Chromebook?
A: The computer was introduced in April 2023. That would put the AUE date in April 2031.
A: Buy an inexpensive Chromebook that has the biggest screen you can afford if you want a good sized screen to watch your movies on (Best Buy sells an ASUS Chromebook with a 17 inch screen, open box excellent with free shipping for $231). At the SAME time buy an external DVD/CD player from Best Buy for about $20 to $30 (LG is good brand). Immediately try both to make sure they work and work together, because you can return one or the other or both to Best Buy within 14 days if there is a problem. Good Luck!

HP is rolling out units labeled "Chromebook Plus", but some existing models meeting the hardware requirements will also support the more robust software, AI capabilities, and more. The hardware requirements for Chromebook Plus are: Processor - Intel i3 or higher, or AMD Ryzen 7000 series and higher. RAM - 8GB or more, Storage: 128GB or more, and an IPS display of 1080P resolution. Going forward, there will be two classifications for any Chrome OS device: a normal Chromebook or a Chromebook Plus.

A: YES! Roblox does work fine on this. If it becomes slow you might need to delete some apps and files to make it run faster & better!

A: Yes it has a camera. Not the greatest quality but serviceable. If you are a creator purchase a seperate camera.

It is considered the least expensive lineup of laptops due to their capacity and performance. For a little bit more money, I would recommend an Envy model with an Intel I5, and 16 Gb of RAM.

Tough little Chrome Book
I got this for basic browsing and doing some work while off site, and I have to say it’s spectacular! Light weight, but packs a punch. Runs smooth all my apps and then some, and also has a SD slot for extra memory. Definitely recommend.
