A: Ignore the HP and Best Buy reps. I bought three of these exact models and can confirm you absolutely can upgrade the RAM and NVME drive. It has two DDR4 slots and you can pop in another 8GB or put two 16GB dimms. In addition to the NVME, it also has a spot for a 2.5" drive and the mother has the interface. You just need to order an HP SSD ribbon cable and drive caddy (or double sided tape it). Nothing is soldered in.
