A: According to Specifications-->Compatibility-->Operating System," it comes with Windows 11 Pro, which is NEVER in S mode. If you want S Mode, there are steps that can be taken to emulate it, or you can try reinstalling the OS system.
Q: Is RAM upgradable? If so, what is max?
A: I checked using Gemini AI, according to which you can go up to 64GB in RAM. Also, even though you didn't ask, I checked for storage update, and Gemini says you can go up to 4TB on the NVMe. Plus, there should be space for a SATA connecting SSD which you can add as well.

A: My quick quick search told me that the unit USUALLY has 16GB of RAM, so it's probably available, although not necessarily from BB, and almost certainly not at this price.

Love My New Laptop
Loving the big screen. I have a 22 inch monitor at work and when I came home to the little 15 inch monitor on my old laptop, I felt like I couldn't see. I upgraded and this is awesome. Computer speed is great. Everything from my old laptop transferred to this one flawlessly and I am very happy with this purchase.

HP 17" Touchscreen is the Best
The laptop was so easy to set up. I literally took it out of the box, started charging, logged into my MS account when completely charged, and everything just downloaded. The laptop itself was delivered on time and in great condition. I love the 17" screen and the touchscreen works great!
