The OMEN by HP Wired USB Gaming Keyboard 1100 has proven to be an incredibly reliable and responsive keyboard in my experience. Having used it for over a year now, I can confidently say that it delivers on its promises. The keys are highly responsive, providing quick and accurate inputs during gaming sessions. In fact, I was so impressed with its performance that I purchased a second one just three months after initially getting it. Having a backup was important to me, especially considering the excellent value I found when it was priced at $50. The keyboard has shown great durability, withstanding regular use and even accidental spills without any issues. The customizable red backlighting adds a touch of visual appeal, allowing me to personalize the keyboard's aesthetics to match my setup. I bought this while it was on sale for $40 to replace a dying $30-ish dollar Redragon mechanical keyboard. The HP OMEN - Encoder's keys have a very satisfying, clackier feel with less resistance when pressed (the Redragon's keys felt spongier). The Encoder also feels sturdier all around and looks easier to clean. Overall, I'm really happy with this. I'm not sure if I would recommend it at its normal $100 price, though. With what's available these days, I think $100 for a gaming keyboard without RGB is a little silly.

I love the build quality of this Keyboard so much I bought another

I actually bought this for my brother, he got a PC, it came with a mediocre keyboard and mouse and he didn’t really like it so I went to Best Buy...just to look and I ended up walking out with a keyboard and a mouse pad! The keyboard is absolutely amazing and he loves it, he treats it like his baby! Wonderful setup along with the mouse pad!

The keyboard is awesome. The feel of it is wonderful. I love using it, and it is looks good as well.

Solid board if you like these switches. I personally prefer brown switches.

I've noticed this keyboard on display a bunch of times, but there were never any in stock to purchase. So I thought, hmmm, how good can this keyboard be? The display wasn't a good way to make a solid decision since there's this pandemic going on and I wasn't sure how often they clean their displays. HA! Anyways, just so happened one day I was in the area looking for other gifts for my son and two boxes were just put on the shelf. I immediately grabbed it and I'm glad I did. The color is awesome. I like the way it handles with typing, I do a lot of typing for work, so this works really well. Did I mention the colors? Yeah, that's my favorite part, if there was gold instead of black, it would make me even happier. Niners fan here! HAHAHAHA!

This mechanical keyboard is unusually well-made, which unfortunately also meant that it is unexpectedly heavy. However, if you don't plan to place the keyboard on your lap or you don't really need to move it around, then this shouldn't pose a serious problem. One problem I had with the keyboard is how easy the keycaps can break off: although they can placed back just as easily. Therefore, I think at the sales price of $40, I would definitely consider it, but most likely at $100: there are better options at that price.

I have other Omen products and wanted the keyboard to complete my Omen setup. This is my first gaming keyboard. I thought I would be annoyed by the loud click clacking of the keys but I have really gown to enjoy it. The keys are really responsive, and the lighting effects are great. I can control the lighting effects through software that came with my Omen laptop. This was a great buy for me. No disappointments.

Easy to plugging with PC. Rough and tough. One of the most comfortable keyboards.

Great keyboard at great price. The cherry mx keys are not loud and has a great feel to them. I previously thought I would only like the browns, but the cherries are nice. The build quality and ability to adjust the LED's are very nice as well. The volume shortcuts could be better, but no complaints at 40 bucks.

I'm loving this keyboard. It's quite heavy so it takes quite bit of force to move it around like others I've had in the past. Feels great and very durable. There are 3 brightness settings (or off) if you hold down the function key and the up/down arrows. The red lighting matches the rest of my setup. Could not be any more pleased.

This is better than i expected. Build quality is exceptional. The Cherry MX keys are a pleasure to both game on and type with. I have zero issues with it other than i would like to have better control over the brightness levels of the keys and change the colors. Very solid keyboard.
