A: Thank you for your question about storage expandability. The Transcend by Omen series laptops are designed to accommodate one internal drive, which means you will not be able to add a second drive internally. You can use an NvME m.2 2280 M-key solid state drive in this. The current SSDs go up to 8TB of storage.

Q: Can this be upgraded to 64GB RAM?

A: you can only get upto 32gb if configured from HP. however, all HP OMEN from 2023 as well as Victus and several ENVY models are capable to run 64gb. Currently have 64gb on 2023 OMEN 16t-u000 and will be getting 2024 OMEN 16t-u100 soon to verify that 64gb will run.

Q: What is the maximum RAM supported by this laptop?

A: all 2023 OMEN can be upgraded to 64gb and i believe 2024 will be same. Everything is the same except for the CPU going from 13th gen to 14th gen. and top-of-line custom spec unit is changed from anti-glare mini-led with 1180nit brightness to OLED 500nit brightness. i currently have 2023 OMEN 16t-u000 which is CTO unit and have 64gb, will be getting 2024 OMEN 16t-u100 soon to verify that 64gb will run. crucial shows that 64gb will run (crucial doesn't list u1023 but u100 is CTO unit that covered all configuration possibility)
