I purchased this laptop as an open box to replace my aging Lenovo. I use it primarily for office work and light gaming. I was concerned about the quality as I have not had good luck with HP laptops in the past. Time will tell but after 3 months of daily use this laptop had exceeded my expectations. Fan noise and battery life were bad initially, but after tweaking numerous settings, I have achieved a decent balance. I love the sleek form factor and the screen is perfect for my needs. I paid $850 (again it was in OB condition) and at that price I would easily give it 5 stars. Had I paid close to retail, I would give it 4 stars.

I’ve had all of the omen transcend laptops since they’ve came out. This one’s the best most defined one yet. I can run all my games at more than acceptable frame rates, it’s a super awesome color, screen is great, and the keyboard is probably best on any of the laptops. The fans hardly ever come on and I can play games in economy mode no problem.

First omen laptop and this set the bar. This does everything I need it to do. From gaming to 3D modeling, without issues. The display looks great, makes watching movies/shows more enjoyable. Battery life is good, can last even longer on eco mode. Everytime i take it out of the case, just makes me glad i went with the ceramic white.

This is just about the prettiest labtop. But the batter drains way to fast, I made sure it was charged completely before using it and just let it sit idle just hitting a button or touching the mouse pad to keep it on and the battery drained quick, called hp tech support they did a lot of updates and configuration and the battery still drained quickly. Like 15% in 10m without doing anything on it.

I love my new laptop so far. I just received it so hopefully it will last a few years if not longer. Only time will tell how good it actually is.

It was okay I enjoyed using it for a few days and it was pretty fast.
