The power cable is a bit short, wish it was longer. The audio/speakers are a little low, wish it was louder. Battery does not last as long as advertised, wish it would last longer. Other than that, I am happy with it.

I’ve been very happy with this laptop so far. The 17.3-inch screen is large, clear, and comfortable to use, especially when I have several tabs or programs open. It runs smoothly, starts up quickly, and the 1TB storage gives me plenty of space for files, photos, and work documents. The design also looks clean and professional. It’s a great choice for work, school, business, or everyday use.

I picked this up new, along with a USB memory stick so that I could ditch Windows 11 and install Ubuntu Linux (26.04) on it. The experience went very smoothly with only the slightest hitch of having to do something with the secure boot control in the firmware -- that was easy to look up the solution to. With all solid-state storage and more than adequate RAM, this machine runs like a dream on Linux. System updates take seconds instead of minutes. It runs a second monitor perfectly via a USB-C to DisplayPort cable (4k @ 60hz). Mouse and touchpad response are perfectly responsive, no lag ever. Multitasking and window switching are phenomenal. There is one tiny little hacky Linux thing I had to do, which will likely not even be necessary after this new version of Ubuntu gets more mature Realtek driver support. I had to do just a small configuration change to coax the Wi-fi to wake back up from sleep/suspend properly. After three weeks I haven't found anything else that wasn't completely functional and supported, everything "just works". My only hardware quality complaint is that the sound quality from the built-in speakers is definitely not inspiring, at least under Linux. The EasyEffects extension to Gnome should help with that. Otherwise this machine has just been a tour de force so far.

It's perfect for my wife who is a teacher. The screen is big enough that she doesn't have to squint entering grades. It's powerful enough that she can multitask desktop publishing, office products, and videos without lag. It has a great battery, and yet it's light enough that you don't feel like you're carrying a bag of bricks. It perfectly suits her needs.

Purchased this HP OmniBook 3 as my main home workstation, and it handles heavy multitasking without any slowdown. The Intel Core Ultra 7 and 16GB of RAM make running multiple apps and tabs effortless, and the 1TB SSD gives me plenty of space. The 17.3-inch screen is fantastic for working side-by-side on documents, though it is a bit heavy if you plan to carry it around often. Excellent performance for a home office setup!
