Q: I bought paper that is too big. Can I cut it to size before printing?

A: Unfortunately, no. There's information on the back of the Zink paper that tells the printer what paper is installed. If you cut the paper to size, you may damage that information and the printer won't work with it in that case.

Q: For the sprocket plus is 2.3x3.4 the only size paper for photos can you use a bigger size?

A: Yes, the ONLY paper that works with the new HP Sprocket Plus is the HP Sprocket Plus Photo Paper, 2.3x3.4-inch.

Q: do I have to buy paper or sheets? it's confusing :(

A: The Sprocket Zink Photo Paper has ink in the paper so this photo paper is all you need for your Sprocket Plus printer.

Q: Is the photo paper glossy or does it have a satin finish?

A: Glossy. The resolution isn't the greatest but for fun, spontaneous photos it's great. It's the modern version of the polaroid photo system.

Q: Why aren’t they any ink of this product in the store right now?

A: Hello Karina, The Sprocket does not use any ink! Images are burned into the Zinc paper from the laser inside the sprocket. -HP Team
