This 100 pack of IDEAL modular plugs is designed for termination to CAT-5E twisted pair cables. Plugs are 8 position 8 contacts for use with Ethernet and related data applicatoins. They are designed to work seamlessly with the IDEAL Telemaster and FT-45 series of modular plug crimp tools as well as compatible non-IDEAL tools. Plugs are designed and manufactured to support all 100 ohm cable wiring schemes, including the widely used TIA-568A and TIA-568B configurations.

The open-end CAT-5E Feed-Thru RJ45 Mod Plugs (100 pk) from IDEAL offers several advantages over standard closed-end connectors. Conductor order can be verified prior to crimping. Conductors that feed-thru the connector are inserted or pulled into the connector to ensure that the twisted pairs are as close to the pin contacts as possible and that the jacket is seated beyond the primary strain relief for a secure connection. Conductors can be cut flush with the end face of the connector when used with the FT-45 Crimp Tool.
