A: Hi and thank you for the question! The soundbar can connect via Bluetooth, auxiliary cord, optical cable, and RCA cable. If your TV has any of them, it can work with the soundbar!
Q: Does it have to be hard wired to the TV?
A: I'd suggest you do for better performance. Even if you TV has bluetooth the audio will slightly lag (due to conversion/processing, very noticeable when watching any kind of entertainment). Bluetooth is great for audio only things (like audio books or music) but there will be a fractional lag in the audio that might drive you nuts.
