Imha Tarikat - Confessing Darkness - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

On InchSternenbersterInch, IMHA TARIKAT take the harsh sound of their debut album InchKara IhlasInch (2019) a huge step further while at the same time staying true to their course.. The German black metal act combines an old school approach based on the Norwegian second wave with dark melodic Swedish influences, vicious outbursts of speed, a dash of punk, and even a pinch of occult rock. Their densely woven string-tapestries allow for distant comparisons with a number of the band's compatriots, but IMHA TARIKAT chose a very direct, raw, and fierce form of expression, which is driven by pure gut instinct and burning emotion. The lyrics of InchSternenbersterInch were inspired by psychoanalysis and especially dream interpretation. The sound created by mastermind Ruhsuz Cellât is infused with high voltage intensity and constant outbursts of inner pressure that also show in his relentless full-throttled style of vocals. The extroverted frontman is violently unleashing all his passion into IMHA TARIKAT. His boundless ambition and utter dedication become audible in the fast and steady progression of his songwriting from the first EP InchKenoborosInch (2017) and the following demo InchSon MistisizmInch (2018) to the 2019 debut-full length InchKara IhlasInch. InchSternenbersterInch is a black metal supernova! InchSternenbersterInch is available as Digipak CD, Gatefold LP on black and ltd. Edition transparent violet vinyl, and on cassette. Album Tracks 1. Ekstase Ohne Ende 2. Sturm Der Erlösung 3. Kreuzpunkt Der Schicksale 4. Brand Am Firmament 5. Klimax Downpour 6. Aufstieg 7. Sternenberster 8. Outro (Cosmos Dissolving)

When IMHA TARIKAT exploded onto the black metal scene in 2017, the Germans created an immediate buzz. Already their debut EP InchKenoborosInch (2017) got picked up by Norwegian underground tag Terratur Possessions, and the band's debut album InchKara IhlasInch (2019) scored them a slot at Bergen's prestigious Beyond the Gates festival where they played alongside MAYHEM, MARDUK, and ARCTURUS. In the wake of the of their sophomore full-length InchSternenbersterInch, both of IMHA TARIKAT's early works will be reissued by Prophecy Productions under the title InchKara Ihlas / Kenoboros - Initiation of Passion BurstingInch. The sound created by founding member and mastermind Ruhsuz Cellât is defined by particularly dense guitars and a powerful vocal style that takes the singer to his physical limits. Driven by gut instinct and burning passion, IMHA TARIKAT's style is very direct, raw, and fierce - inspired by early Norwegian black metal, dark melodic Swedish influences, vicious outbursts of speed, a dash of punk, and at times even a pinch of occult rock. Lyrically, the extroverted frontman wrestles with inner demons and emotional fallout rather than obscure rituals and theology. With most of the copies of InchKenoborosInch and InchKara IhlasInch long gone, this combined reissue offers the perfect opportunity to add these fiery releases to every black metal collection. InchKara Ihlas / Kenoboros - Initiation of Passion BurstingInch is available as Digipak CD and on Gatefold 2-LP in black and ltd. Transparent sun yellow vinyl. Album Tracks 1. ÇÖKMÜS MÜHÜR (The Broken Seal) 2. Akan Sir (The Flowing Wisdom) 3. Omninihai ÇÖZÜMÜ (Omni-Final Solution) 4. Katarsis Vaazi (Catharsis Sermon) 5. Safaksis Rüya (Dawnless Dream) 6. Raleigh, NC's Confessor made a name for themselves by crafting unapologetically heavy riffs with a unique flare for rhythmic shifts and odd time signatures. The band created quite a stir by playing all over the southeast and landing two tours in Europe, including the now legendary InchGods of GrindInch trek with ENTOMBED, CARCASS, and CATHEDRAL. With the of their 1991 debut album on Earache Records, Condemned, the group felt as though their chance was at hand to show the world that Confessor was unlike anything else. Unfortunately, record tag partnerships and politics forced Confessor off of the U.S. leg of InchGods of GrindInch in favor of a more InchhappeningInch act. Ongoing struggles with the tag led to lineup changes that altered the band's trajectory, and eventually they folded before seeing the mid-'90s. Luckily, over the years Confessor's controversial-yet-pioneering sound became accepted and adored by many in the metal community, ultimately leading to a reunion and follow-up album in 2005. Originally issued in early-2013, Uncontrolled collects all three of Confessor's early demo cassettes onto one CD. These are the recordings that helped the band get signed to Earache Records in 1990, and led to the eventual of the now-groundbreaking Condemned album. In lieu of the 2013 DVD, this revised edition of Uncontrolled-re-remastered by Jamie King Audio-features an updated tracklist that includes a previously unreleased radio broadcast recorded live on 88.1 WKNC's Chainsaw Rock in 1989, plus an expanded 20-page booklet with lyrics.
