Imha Tarikat - Kara Ihlas / Kenoboros - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

On InchSternenbersterInch, IMHA TARIKAT take the harsh sound of their debut album InchKara IhlasInch (2019) a huge step further while at the same time staying true to their course.. The German black metal act combines an old school approach based on the Norwegian second wave with dark melodic Swedish influences, vicious outbursts of speed, a dash of punk, and even a pinch of occult rock. Their densely woven string-tapestries allow for distant comparisons with a number of the band's compatriots, but IMHA TARIKAT chose a very direct, raw, and fierce form of expression, which is driven by pure gut instinct and burning emotion. The lyrics of InchSternenbersterInch were inspired by psychoanalysis and especially dream interpretation. The sound created by mastermind Ruhsuz Cellât is infused with high voltage intensity and constant outbursts of inner pressure that also show in his relentless full-throttled style of vocals. The extroverted frontman is violently unleashing all his passion into IMHA TARIKAT. His boundless ambition and utter dedication become audible in the fast and steady progression of his songwriting from the first EP InchKenoborosInch (2017) and the following demo InchSon MistisizmInch (2018) to the 2019 debut-full length InchKara IhlasInch. InchSternenbersterInch is a black metal supernova! InchSternenbersterInch is available as Digipak CD, Gatefold LP on black and ltd. Edition transparent violet vinyl, and on cassette. Album Tracks 1. On their fourth album, InchConfessing DarknessInch, IMHA TARIKAT are once again pushing hard against all the boundaries that define the genre without ever losing the essential connection to the harsh style. Black metal has always been a much less narrowly defined musical beast than outsiders or jealous gatekeepers have often insinuated. The German black metal innovators have previously made use of all the possibilities that the genre offers while still carving out their own territory. Their dark sonic kingdom is built on two pillars Musically, a relentless pushing and unstoppable drive forward characterise their sound. InchConfessing DarknessInch delivers even more of that raw energy than before. The other foundation is a deep emotional intelligence that fully utilises the ability of black metal to express every feeling ranging from purest love to darkest hatred, from severe depression to outbursts of joy. And again, this album takes these personal confessions several steps further as it is all true. This time around, IMHA TARIKAT's lyrical and musical mastermind Kerem Yilmaz aka Ruhsuz Cellât has created the whole album in a studio environment, which benefits the sound. He has also opted mostly for shorter, sharper assaults. The tracks on InchConfessing DarknessInch come straight to the point and let go when they have spent their devastating power. IMHA TARIKAT have matured as InchConfessing DarknessInch clearly demonstrates. Yet although some of the youthful sonic violence has waned while experience and hard won musical knowledge are waxing, the German black metal outfit has only gained in conviction and strength. Beyond doubt, InchConfessing DarknessInch marks a milestone in the rise of IMHA TARIKAT. Album Tracks 1. Intro - Aufbruch 2. Wicked Shrine 3. Another Failed Ritual 4. Voices of Bitter Epiphany 5. Excellent Grief 6. Confessing Darkness 7.

Vicious and vitriolic, full of raw anger and burning hatred, yet at the same time bursting with live and lingering on moments of astonishing beauty - IMHA TARIKAT's third album InchHearts Unchained - At War with a Passionless WorldInch announces it's inherent contradictions and struggles already in the title. Essentially a black metal album in the crackling dry and humourless German style that renounces all bombast and often folk-ish undertones of it's Nordic counterparts, IMHA TARIKAT's lyrical and musical mastermind Kerem Yilmaz aka Ruhsuz Cellat has once again created new layers and expanded the dimensions of his unique compositions. While adding even more throat-torturing approaches to his physically violent singing style, the ferocious drumming and relentless churning of frost-covered guitar strings remain as the either ice cold or glowing hot foundations of IMHA TARIKAT. Then again, while his songs twist and turn through the black void, they sometimes take surprising detours into passionate moments and solos rather derived from heavy metal, hard and occult rock, and even a knife-tip of punk. Lyrically, IMHA TARIKAT continue to function as some kind of an encrypted diary recording Kerem Yilmaz' personal experiences, growth, and fascinations InchI literally let myself go insane to create an absolutely authentic experienceInch, the singer and guitarist reveals about the recording process of InchHearts UnchainedInch, which not surprisingly revolves around inner conflicts, suffering, escalating emotions, but also catharsis and redemption. IMHA TARIKAT and it's brutal black sound were created as an emotional pressure valve for it's founder, Kerem Yilmaz. His burning musical passion reveals itself in the fast progression, which with his songwriting grows remarkably into all directions with every new . While even the first EP InchKenoborosInch left an excellent impres
