This freezer is exactly what we needed in our garage. We have a refrigerator freezer unit in the garage but every winter when the temperatures fall, the freezer unit stops working when the unheated garage temperature drops below a certain point. Then we have to take everything out of the freezer section and try to fit it all in the house refrigerator freezer unit. Then we can’t buy any freezer items since we don’t have the room. We purchased this freezer and when the really cold weather came, we moved all the freezer items to this freezer which is working perfectly! Now we have plenty of room for all our frozen items and can buy more if we want. There’s plenty of room and it all stays frozen, no matter what the temperature is in the garage. The two appliances are next to each other in the garage which makes it very convenient. We are very happy with this freezer!

We bought this upright freezer as a replacement for an old working chest freezer that we kept in a detached garage. The old freezer always iced up and needed frequent defrosting. Finding items in the chest freezer was sometimes frustrating as it seemed whatever we needed had frequently found its way to the bottom of the frozen mess. The new upright has auto defrost and has room for everything we kept in the old freezer. The upright has bottom drawers for smaller items and several shelves that allow for easy viewing of everything in the freezer. The temperature of the upright is adjustable from well below zero in freezer mode or above freezing if we ever find need to use it as a refrigerator.

The freezer is efficient, maintains freeze well, is quiet, and is very spacious inside.
