I would reccomend this to anyone not looking for the facny tv with a ton of features. It has a excellent picture and the cost is very inexpensive. I currently own 6 Insignia tvs. 55, 28, 24 with dvd, 2 24, and a 19. I would not think twice about purchaseing another one.

Bought this on sale and it definitely impresses me for what it is: nice secondary tv / monitor for bedroom HTPC running Plex HT. Picture quality is very good. Only complaint with picture is the amount of bleed-through from the backlight, noticeable in a dark room.. That was mitigated somewhat by turning the backlight control down less than half and then turning up the brightness so that black level detail wouldn't get washed out. Color quality is very good. Maybe not to the level of a good Samsung set but then again, this set is significantly cheaper than any Samsung (and they only offer 720p on their small cheaper sets). This set also makes a nice monitor for a computer, especially if the computer has an HDMI output. Also, this set has "24p" which I liked. My set is hooked up to a computer running Linux Mint which has Plex HT installed and configured. A NVidia card (with the after-mentioned HDMI) handles the video chores. Movies and other videos play with excellent picture quality. Note: when hooking this up to a computer, go into the TV menu and turn OFF overscan. This set has 2 HDMI inputs, with one being able to control Roku (and maybe others) sticks. Sound quality wise, the speakers are good for speech reproduction and not much else. If you want better sound, get a sound bar or run the output through a receiver. The set has both analog and digital audio outputs. My only other complaint, aside from the bleed-through from the black light would be from the support feet. I would rather have a central stand.

I had an old 19inch television so I bought this 24 inch tv thinking it would be an upgrade in size. While I suppose it actually is, it seems smaller based on the fact it's a widescreen tv. IT is true 1080p so the picture looks amazing. The sound is only average but for the price i paid on sale, 159.00 it was well worth it. I only wish I had opted for a 26 or 29 inch tv. It does have 2 HDMI connections as well so I was able to hook it up to a cable box as well as blu-ray player and there is still room to hook something up via component connections.

Great tv for the price. Easy to setup i.e. just plug in. Picture is great, use with my chromecast. Only downside is that plastic feed stand fall out when you pick it up. I move it around a lot depending on what room I (or my kids) are watching it and when you pick it up, the feet will fall out. Not normal usage though.

I needed a TV for my little-used place in LA, after my 20 year old set with picture tube with built in VCR finally died. This new TV is overall a big improvement. It takes up much less space and weighs a fraction of the old one even though this new one has a larger screen. It only cost about $150, excluding tax and an antenna that I had to buy after discovering that the converter box for the old set will not work as an antenna for the new set. Pretty good considering the old set cost me about $500 in 1993 or 1994. One thing I wish it had, which the old set had, is an alarm feature, where it comes on by itself at a preprogrammed time (it does have a sleep feature, though).

Got this for the kitchen. Perfect size, great picture, great price. The only negatives I would have are it takes awhile to turn on, but that's probably for energy saving, no biggie. And one pixel is bad, but who can see that in the middle of all the others? Really like the TV.

I got this to use as a monitor for my computer tower when my old monitor died. It did this really well. It also is a great television and everything looks good when shown on it. It works well for a small area and is very lightweight. Gotta love digital!

Perfect size for my bedroom. Small enough to sit on my dresser but much larger screen than the traditional (old style)TV it replaced. Picture is so clear; the color is wonderful. Very easy to hook up. Comparison shopped; Best Buy had the best buy.

We're using this monitor at work for security. Video and color are clear and easy to see. Functions are simple, switching between HDMI and over-the-air antenna is a snap. Good value for the dollars spent.

I use this TV for my camera security system and the picture quality is great. The TV is small, light and easy to relocate if needed. It consumes very little electricity and serves me very well.

I bought 1 for my office as a extra monitor for my Mac laptop. Was so happy with the picture I went back and bought 6 more. I have two mounted side by side and can watch TV, play PS4, Xbox, use both for duel monitors, and have multiple computers connected to a single TV. With 2 HDMI connections, 1 VGA and composite cables and weighs under 6lbs this is a great buy. We have on mounted in the kitchen and it is a near large windows and the picture is bright the sound is good. The tv is 12v so I bought a car addapter, local electronics supply store, and use one is the field as well as monitor and have taken camping worked out great. Would recomend this tv so much that after I bought six I ended up purchasing 3 more when I visited my parents and outfitted their home office and kitchen.

I bought two of these one for each of my kids rooms. To replace some older ones that didn't have an HDMI input. The picture on them are great. Not a lot of bells and whistles. But for the price it is all we needed.

If you need a 24" television that is easy to mount, with a low price, this was a good value. Light enough to make it easy to mount on wall. Bright enough to be seen in a barroom from a distance.

This is an excellent choice for a bedroom or guest room tv. You can change the picture size and is great on the energy and easy to operate.
