I purchased this computer supply to hack up, and use to power automotive lighting for bench testing. So far, I am very pleased.

As title suggest, great PSU for the price. No problems with it besides having odd color combinations throughout the wiring. Cord lengths were good, didn't have issues running it through my NZXT h500 housing case. This is not a modular PSU, so you cant go about changing the colors of the wires to your liking, unless you add cable extensions. Be aware of that. Wish they had just used one color throughout, like black, instead of rainbow and black and yellow for the sata drives and what not. Will dock a star off for that. But other than that, happy with purchase! Using this currently for my first PC build!

I purchase this for a replacement power supply for my desktop computer and home I found this power supply more then good enough for my computer its had good long connections for all the drives works quietly and its have plenty of additional connections for future hardware updates and upgrades

Insignia has really improved on their power supplies. Good price easy install. Not a fan of the color. Black would have made my build look a bit better. Now I will test it's longevitiey. But sofar it's great.

I upgraded the factory power supply to this 550w and it was a tremendous addition to my pc console. It’s also quiet which was something I was concerned about. Easy to install!

I purchased this product with cheaper price than lower power model. It is a great value product and also has a good reliability. It is easy to install.

Plenty of SATA connectors, the ATX12V/EPS12V connectors for server-class motherboards, good cable lengths on everything for large (non-micro-ATX cases.) Seems to be as quiet as my Antec ECO 380W power supplies as well. Don't know who OEMs this for Best Buy, but it truly seems like a quality product. Heartily recommended.

This unit runs very quietly and keeps going, no problems whatsoever. Great price,too!!

Insignia does not disappoint. This power supply should be rated at 600 watts because it behaves like one. I'm running a Radeon 580 with a Intel i7 8700 and 32 gigs of RAM. even the most intensive game titles do not kick the fan into high gear. Great value for the price. Will continue buying Insignia products.

Bought this on sale for less than half the price I previously paid for a high end 500W power supply that was shutting itself down without warning after a random period of time. Works great with more connectors than the old PS. I didn't even need to use them all and now have expansion capability.

not modular but then again the price point keeps it that way but still pretty good and quiet

Does the job very well.. pretty strong PSU for the price and wattage holding voltage lines on 12v 5v and 3.3v pretty hood under overclocked load and stress on a i9 5.3GHz and and GTX 1080ti comes with enough decent amount coonections to power tour cpu videocard pci x ram and fans

As a power supply itself, it's nothing to write home about. I would trust this about the same as I'd trust a PSU bundled with a case. Purchased about a month ago, and it's been running a low-power file server with an attached Arduino 24/7 since. No complaints thus far, though I haven't really pushed it. Given the availability of power supplies that have been reviewed by, say, JonnyGuru.com, I would grab something else if I needed a PSU for an $800+ gaming rig. However, If you need to replace a dead PSU and don't have specific high-performance needs, this fits the bill at a decent price, and can be a same-day replacement instead of having to wait for shipping. So, my final takeaway is this: If any old power supply will do, grab one of these. If you need a decent power supply right now, grab one of these. If you can order, afford and wait for a Seasonic Focus Gold or better, do that.

My computer was shutting off and running slow. So I took out my old 300W power supplier and installed this one. Went in easy and now my computer works like new.

This is a real nice power supply, for the price it can't be beat. I have a closed case so it doesn't matter about the unwrapped cables.
