Q: Can this be charged with a wall charger or by Usb only? Does a charger come with this unit?

A: USB wall charger (i.e., wall wart).

Q: What capacity SD card can be used?

A: The box says Micro SD Slot (up to 128GB)

Q: does this tablet have google play store?

A: Yes, the tablet has the Google Play store.

Q: What makes this new version different then the last model.

A: This has front and rear-facing cameras. Comes with Marshmallow (newest) version of Android. Other model may be incapable of upgrading to the latest operating system (required for some apps)

Q: What is the size of the memory RAM?

A: The tablet has 1 GB of RAM.

Q: Can the software be reset? I bought this tablet for a friend but I want to test it out first, which involves setting up a Google account. If I set it up with a Google account, can I reinitialize it so my friend can start over?

A: Yes. There is a setting to back up your data or reset your tablet back to factory settings. Click on "Settings" and select "Backup & reset"

Q: What is the approx battery life doing web browsing or reading (eg, Kindle emulator) with screen on? I saw one post claiming 4 hours but that seems really low; we currently have a 3+ year old Google Nexus 7" tablet and get 6-7 hours of use per charge.

A: Battery life will vary mainly with (a) display brightness setting, (b) apps running in background and amount of time spent accessing the internet for streaming, data retrieval, etc. I use mine 4-6 times a day for an hour or half hour at a time and it lasts 2-3 days. Under continuous use, it should last at least a day for reading. There are power saving settings you can apply to extend the battery life.

Q: The pice is with a plan or without?

A: The price is without a plan. In fact I don't think this even sopports a plan
