I was given a computer by my son in law but it’s video output was DVI! My current monitor had only a VGA connection! Found an adapter on Best Buy website and ordered it, picking it up at the store later! Installed it once I got home and resolved the problem! Good to have Best Buy as a ready source for solutions!!!

Adapter did the trick. My new computer did not have the proper connection.

Bought this adapter to add a second screen to her computer, so she can effectively work from home. Have had no problems with it an it is a quick solution for adding a second screen.

Adapter was less expensive that purchasing another USB cable. Resulted in being able to use an older model CPU. Was able to re-purpose current cable to help the environment.

When we went into the store, we did not know the exact name of what we needed, but explained our problem in great detail, and what we needed to remedy it. The clerk did not understand and quickly got frustrated with us. He constantly made us feel stupid and unwelcome. Just as we were about to leave, we found this product, and the clerk finally understood our request and said we should have asked for a different thing. We know we are not computer experts, that's why we go to Best Buy to ask questions!! Very unprofessional and condescending!! Product worked out great, though!!

Never heard of it but needed it. It did the trick. I come out of my desktop and into my TV. Works great.

Nice adaptor at a good price. Helped me connect my new computer to my old monitor that had VGA port.

Does what it needs to, good price, only con is it might now fight in a cabinet with limited space

We had a decade old Dell XPS system that finally conked out. However the also decade old Dell monitor that came with that PC was still working. It had a VGA output. By purchasing this adapter we were able to reclaim the old monitor for a brand new PC (which no longer supports VGA outputs). So, $16 to recycle an old monitor that we would otherwise have to pay $80+ for a new one is a great deal.

During the Coronavirus outbreak, this was a difficult item to find locally. Best buy was the only option for local pickup and they had a great system in place for protecting the customer. The Insignia DVI-A-to-VGA adapter was exactly what I needed and was easy to install and is a very simple product to use.

Great dvi to vga adapter at a Great Price. Easy to install.

Needed to replaced a dvi adapter that has been abused for years, and wasn't even good when I bought the used pc it came with originally. So I bought this dvi adapter and it works perfectly. The monitor's colors are no longer fuzzy. It's a solid connection, with a clear, sharp display now.

I went to another electronic store and I thought that I ordered the correct adapter. Unfortunately, it did not work. I showed this adaptor to a member of the Geek Squad and he recommended this adaptor. Not only did it work, but it was almost a third the price of the adaptor that I first purchased. I would recommend this adaptor if needed.

This is one of those items where you're just thankful there is a BestBuy close to the job site. Just make sure the pin-out matches your video output on the DVi end and it will convert your signal to analog. If you need it, however, nothing else will work! Like all BestBuy products, it's packaged well and priced competitively! Just get it.
