Work great who knew I could use my old usb port for a video out works great best part I am able to have 2 monitor on my desk again great item.

Great! it supports 2560x1440@60hz via USB3.0, that is what I exactly need.

This Insignia™ USB 3.0 to DisplayPort Adapter works exactly as expected. Setup was quick and easy; just plug it in and it instantly recognized my display with no issues. The video quality is crisp and stable, making it perfect for adding an extra monitor or extending a workspace. The compact design and clean white finish are a nice bonus. Overall, a solid, dependable adapter that does the job without any hassle.

Had a work computer with Intel UHD 630 graphics that was maxing out at three displays even when hooking up a display port splitter. No matter what I did the fourth display would be detected but could not be used due to the channel limitation on the intel graphics card. Bought this and it worked like a champ! Four displays going strong!

This device is actually just what I needed to in order to use my monitor with a display to hdmi adapter, this is a passive device. It’s been working fine and I haven’t had any issues with the display of my screen so I’m a satisfied customer.

Product does what its supposed to do. Occasionally when starting my laptop, my monitor doesn't detect a dp connection. In these cases I try a few different things and it starts working fine. • unplug dp cord from adapter and plug back in • unplug dp cord from monitor and plug back in • unplug adapter usb end from port and plug back in • unplug adapter usb end from port and plug in to a different usb port or usb hub One of these actions gets the monitor to recognize the dp source. Not sure why this happens, but it usually just takes a couple minutes of trying various things and then it starts working fine.

Decent product, with missing / false advertisement. It never says anywhere that it's only capable of a 30Hz refresh rate. Found this out on my macbook pro 16/2019 - finds it immediately, but will only offer 30Hz refresh rate. Also will not allow verticle monitor rotation (on MacOS at least). So you'll have to make sure you're happy with standard horizontal orientation of the monitor. None of these limitations are defined; Like all things 'Insignia' brand, there is virtually zero documentation, even online at 'insigniaproducts.com' - where you're SUPPOSED to be able to download updated drivers for this device (according to the label wrapped around the dongle cord). Overall, disapointed and unable to use at this time. Would only be usable for a monitor where you want to look at static images like documents, spreadsheets, etc. 30Hz can look choppy / alias as you scroll or the image changes (like with dynamic content).

Did exactly what we needed it to. Its been a week and its still working fine. Delivery was really fast.

This adapter works perfectly with my MacBook Air. I can have SD cards and flash drives running all at once. Great device, just what I needed.

Looked like a well made quality product, but didn't work for my application and I had to return it. I was trying to connect my inexpensive laptop to a new high end monitor that had a DP input. The laptop didnt have a DP output port. The computer did have a spare USP port. The monitor didn't recognize this connection. Worth the try. No problem returning the product to Best Buy.

Great for three monitors. Easy to connect. Great for traveling with laptop.

This works seamlessly. I brought this to connect one of my External monitors to my thunder port as a part of home conference setup. And the experience was smooth and connection was not having any latency issues.

Perfectly works. My new HP didn't have a secondary port for a second monitor so I had to get creative and this worked great. I don't remember if I needed to download a driver for this but it's simple if you do

Got tangle up with a replacement monitor and PC that have incompatible ports. Hard to find until I checked Best Buy. This thing bailed by out. Monitor works great on desktops and notebooks. The USB interface is the key.

I ordered this DisplayPort Adapter for the docking station of my Surface Pro 6 (running Win 10 Pro) to connect to a DisplayPort on external Samsung monitor. Win 10 automatically identified the device, installed the driver, and connected to the monitor at resolution of 3840 x 2160 30Hz. It is working well so far.

Worked so well on both my laptops, I bought two. I have two laptops that didn't have USB C ports. This worked great and I was able to connect my Lenovo 24" monitors to each one. I recommend them. Easy to use for an old person like me, I didn't have to search and read online to install.

Works like a charm, laptops are coming with so few ports, and my latest had no display port, so I needed the adapter to hook up my monitor. All set now!

Insignia USB 3 to Display Port was a little piece that I needed to connect a laptop to a second computer screen. Installation could not have been easier. Great product, no complaints.
