A: Yes this mic allows you to adjust the pattern! there's a knob in the back the change between 3 patterns which are full 360 degrees, 180 degrees from the front, and a binaural effect where it picks up sound directly in front and directly behind. You will see little pictures under the knob that shows you what the pattern looks like. ENJOY! :D
