Q: Can the cell phone be in a protective case to work with the magnet?
A: Yes it can. I have Otterbox case installed on my Note 10+ 5G
Q: Will this work with my MagSafe case, without installing the metal plate or additional magnet?
A: Not really. Your phone will tilt and eventually fall off if you don’t fix it. Bumpy roads and tight turns will make the phone turn.
Q: Anyway on vents, vertical or horizontal?
A: It doesn't mount to any of the vents, just simply slips into your CD slot.
Q: Will this work with a 7-inch Garmin GPS?
A: Hi Ernie, If the Garmin has a flat back where the metallic plate can be installed it will work with this mount.
Q: Can I still play cds when this is in use?
A: No. This blocks your player entirely, and inserts into the player. You will break the cd if you try, I am sure.
Q: Does the metal plat fit on a popit? I have a popit and would like to glue the plate to the popit.
A: The metal plate is probably larger than the popit. It will fit, as long as you don't mind the larger size.
Q: Can this be inserted into a multi disc CD changer? Does it risk damaging the radio?
A: As long as you have a single slot to stick in the CDs I think it would work. Doesn’t have anything to do with the radio. I use my radio all the time.
Q: Will the magnet on the back of the phone interfere with wireless charging?
A: Yes and you cannot use wireless charging with this on.
