Johnny Ruiz & Escapers - Sorry / Prettiest Girl - 7-INCH SINGLE [7 inch Vinyl Disc]

Big Crown is proud to present the second 45 from the darling dears of Rialto, CA, Brainstory. We dropped their debut single on the tag back in March and it instantly caught on with all the sweet soul fans. This new 7Inch showcases the funkier, jazzier but equally soulful side of Brainstory. Their debut album InchBuckInch, produced entirely by Leon Michels is due out in October of 2019. The A side, InchBreatheInch, takes a page out of the Shuggie Otis playbook and then flips the script with some stoned out, west coast swag. In the words of Kevin, Brainstory's lead chanteur, InchBreathe is a song about letting go of the emotional baggage of our lives in order to become who we truly are. Before this new journey can happen we got to stop back and take a breath. Relax. Use the power of this simple act to become your higher self.Inch Side B, InchSorryInch keeps on with the same swagger as Breathe but finds brother and bass player extraordinaire, Tony, taking over the vocal duties. In his words, InchSorry is an expression of the truth in a relationship that has ran it's course. Nobody wants to say it but eventually this truth prevails and becomes undeniableInch.

I think that it is a very diverse and interesting album. It probably differs from our other albums because this time we were more familiar with our own sound and how we work in studio. We had more experience and that gave us a bigger to work from.Inch As briefly mentioned above, with Ram, In Solitude, Portrait and a couple of others there seems to be some kind of InchNew Wave of Traditional MetalInch. Is that how Oscar sees things as well? That seems to be the case InchSure, all mentioned bands are immensly talented and involved in music for honest reasons. There is some form of small hype going on, but we don't care about that. I am sure that neither do In Solitude nor Portrait. Heavy Metal music is a lifestyle for us as it was back in the nineties when people would laugh at you for having a Dio T-shirt. Any serious artist keeps sales and trends out of his creative sphere, we are trying to make timeless mus
