The Kärcher Robot Vacuum Cleaner RCV 5 for hard floors and carpets is the smart solution for floor cleaning. The vacuuming robot removes dust and dirt fast, neatly, and completely autonomously. One battery charge will last for around 120 minutes. At 66 dB, it is also quiet and will not disturb anyone while working. Its 5000pa suction power also adapts to each surface type. When the robot vacuum recognizes a carpet, it will increase suction for even more thorough cleaning. The robot vacuum cleaner also comes with a mopping function, to help remove even hardened dust and dirt with exchangeable and washable microfiber cloths. The side brushes ensure edges and corners are thoroughly cleaned as well. With a height of just 3.7 in., the RCV 5 can also clean under low furniture. The LiDAR laser sensors map floors and recognize obstacles that the robot vacuum cleaner will avoid. In addition, the RCV 5 has a dual laser system that also detects obstacles below the LiDAR sensors, such as shoes. Innovative crash sensors detect stairs and other areas with a risk of a fall, so that the robot will stay away from them. The robot vacuum has no problems crossing thresholds or carpets up to a height of 0.7 in.. You can easily control the robot with the Kärcher Home Robots app. In the app, you can set up cleaning schedules and specifications as well as no-go-zones. Detected carpets will be marked as no-go-zones in the app and the robot vacuum won’t use the mopping function there. You can also map multiple floors in the app and save individual cleaning specifications for each floor map.
