The RCV 3 comes with a LiDAR laser, enabling floor mapping and smart navigation through multiple rooms. Obstacle sensors ensure the vacuuming robot can safely use stairs or ramps. Simultaneously, it can easily get over doorsills and low-pile carpets up to 0.7 in. You can use the Kärcher Home Robots App to program the vacuuming robot to clean according to your preferences. Via the app you can remotely turn the robot on and off, establish a cleaning schedule and set up cleaning specifications such as cleaning paths or no-go-zones. For this purpose, a floor mapping of one or multiple floors is stored in the app. With a suction power of 2500pa the robot vacuum cleaner can effortlessly and completely autonomously remove dirt and dust and even pet hair from carpets and hard floors such as tiles or laminate. The side brushes ensure that also edges get thoroughly cleaned. One battery charge will last for 120 minutes of vacuuming. In addition, the vacuuming robot comes with a mop function, enabling you to vacuum and mop hard floors simultaneously. For mopping the robot uses a microfiber cloth that is easy to remove from the machine to clean it up. Special no-go-zones can be set up for carpeted areas that the vacuum robot will not mop. An integrated 2-in-1 container has room for 10.14 oz. dust and 5.74 oz. water. The vacuuming robot is only 3.7 in. high and can thus get under even low furniture. It’s also very silent, producing only 67 dB operating noise.
