KEF - Q6 Meta LCR Speaker (Each) - Black

I purchased the Q6 Meta to replace my KEF Q250c and the difference is astounding. Dialogue is crystal clear, no distortion at higher volumes, and more details that I didn't notice before. The center speaker is the most important speaker in a home theater setup and the Q6 Meta performs well above its price!

After 2+ years trying to find a center channel for my 5.1.4 set up , this is by far a excellent choice, I’ve tried 4 other brands and using dirac ART as room correction, The KEF has proven to be best in class, paired with q7 left/ right, q1 surrounds, and a svs sb 2000 pro, A little pricey but over music is phenomenal, Atmos Movies still aren’t 100% clear but its all in the source provided and the mix. Highly recommend

These are wondeful center speakers. I was apprehensive about configuring home theatre system in my basement hall , which has dimensions like 40ft by 24ft and many open spaces. Kef meta speakers nullified all those empty spaces , no echo and they are great addition. I dont need a bass module as well . Highly recommended.

KEF q6 has excellent sound clarity and the vocal clarity for movies improved drastically compared with my previous center. The speakes is bit larger on the size.

I wanted to replace my Definitive Technology ProCenter 1000, to improve the clarity of sound which we overcompensated for by just making the sound louder with the Definitive Technology. The KEF enable us to keep the volume lower, but the sound quality is clearer. It also broadens the sound stage across the front. Overall, feels more "real". When playing music, definitely a cleaner sound. I'm using a Denon AVR-X2800H, and have noticed that the receiver is running a little hotter than with the Definitive Technology speakers. That's something for you to consider if you have your receiver in an enclosed cabinet. The KEF is 4 ohm, which means a little more power output. The speaker is definitely bigger, and my wife did object. However, she got used to it. The version we chose is black, and with the grill on it basically blends in with the TV. This works well with my in-wall Atlantic Technology front speakers, in wall rear speakers from Boston Acoustics, a pair of height speakers, and Definitive Technology SuperCube 2000. We are using it in our family room (not a dedicated media room).
