The Kensington SD4880P is a 17-in-1 USB-C docking station that turns a single cable connection into a full four-screen workstation, and it operates driverless over DisplayPort Alt Mode so Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, USB4 and USB-C laptops connect as plug and play. Video output is handled by two HDMI and two DisplayPort connectors, supporting quad 4K at 30Hz or a single 8K display at 30Hz on capable hardware, and quad 1080p at 120Hz when DisplayPort 1.4 HBR3 with display stream compression is enabled. Systems with more limited graphics output drive a single 4K screen at 60Hz or quad 1080p at 30Hz. Ten USB ports cover peripherals and charging, split between four USB-C ports rated at 30W on one port and 15W on the other three, plus six USB-A ports at 4.5W each, all running at data rates up to 10Gbps.
