Ultra-thin laptops and 2-in-1 convertibles like the Microsoft Surface Pro offer great mobile productivity and sleek good looks. But that also means they usually come up short on connectivity ports. As a result, you’re constantly plugging and unplugging peripherals. That’s where the SD3500v USB 3.0 Universal Docking Station comes in. It turns one USB port into six so you have access to all your peripherals, including keyboard, mouse, printer and external hard drive. And with dual HD video output, you can add two external monitors to boost productivity. The dock’s two USB 3.0 ports support super-speed data transfer of up to 5 Gbps.
- Connect two additional screens with 1 DVI Out & 1 HDMI Out: Expand your workspace by adding additional monitors. Connect your DVI monitor to the DVI port or use the included DVI>VGA adapter to connect your VGA monitor. If you've got an HDMI monitor, you can connect directly into the HDMI out port.
- Extend Mode: Extend your workspace by making it bigger. Extend mode allows you to share your whole desktop across multiple screens. Ideal for improved productivity by working with, and viewing, multiple applications at the same time.
- Clone Mode: Allows you to replicate the same content on your second display as you do on your master display.
- 2 Front USB 3.0 Ports: Two fast and powerful USB 3.0 ports are positioned on the front of the dock for when you want to charge a phone or tablet, or transfer data from another device. Headphone and microphone input ports are also conveniently within reach when they’re needed.
- 4 Rear USB 2.0 Ports: Connect all your peripherals with 4 USB ports. These ports are strategically located on the back of the docking station to help keep your printer, keyboard and mice cables or wireless dongles hidden from view.
Product Manuals
Q: What is Clone Mode used for?
A: Clone Mode replicates the content from your main display onto your second display.
Q: How many USB 3.0 ports are on the front of the docking station?
A: There are 2 USB 3.0 ports located on the front of the docking station.
Q: Where are the USB 2.0 ports located?
A: The four USB 2.0 ports are located on the back of the docking station.
Q: Does this docking station have a headphone jack?
A: Yes, the Kensington Docking Station has a headphone jack for your convenience.
Q: How many screens can I connect to this docking station?
A: The Kensington Docking Station allows you to connect a maximum of 1 additional screen.
Q: Can I connect a DVI monitor to this docking station?
A: Yes, you can connect a DVI monitor directly to the DVI port, or use the included DVI to VGA adapter for VGA monitors.
Q: Will this support a 3 year old HP Envy laptop
A: Without knowing exactly which model of Envy you have, the most important thing is that the dock connects by USB 3.0, so if your Envy doesn't have any spare USB 3.0 ports, that would be a problem. This would be the old style, larger USB port. Some laptops these days only have USB-C ports, which wouldn't work for this dock, at least without some converters.
A: When you plug this into the USB 3.0 port of your laptop, you will gain a DVI (or VGA via included adapter) port and a separate HDMI port for two monitors via this device. If your laptop has a HDMI out port, you may be able to add a third monitor to that port, allowing a total of four displays (which includes your laptop display). So, with this device, you can connect to a VGA monitor, even if your laptop does not have a VGA port on it.

The Plugable UD-3900Z USB 3.0 and USB-C docking station is a reliable USB docking station designed for standardized workstation deployments across Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS environments. As a universal docking station, it enables consistent desk setups across mixed device fleets, expanding laptops and desktops with dual monitors, wired networking, audio, and USB peripherals through a single connection. This USB docking station dual monitor solution supports two HDMI displays up to 1920x1200 @ 60Hz and uses DisplayLink technology to enable extended or mirrored desktops on compatible Windows and ChromeOS systems, as well as on Apple Silicon MacBooks including M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, and MacBook Neo models, even on systems that are typically limited to a single native external display. The UD-3900Z provides 10 expansion ports, including 2 HDMI outputs, 2 USB 3.0 ports for high-speed devices, 4 USB 2.0 ports for keyboards, mice, and receivers, Gigabit Ethernet for stable wired network connectivity, and 3.5mm audio input/output. Both USB-C and USB-A host cables are included, allowing this USB A docking station to support legacy systems while also functioning as a modern USB C docking station. The compact vertical design helps reduce cable clutter and fits easily between monitors, making it well suited for hot-desking and shared workspace environments. This dock is HDMI-only and does not support DisplayPort. HDCP is not supported, so encrypted content such as Netflix, Hulu, or Blu-ray will not play. Designed for business applications rather than GPU-intensive workloads, it is not recommended for gaming or full-screen video playback. The included 24W external power supply powers connected accessories but does not charge the host laptop. In the box: UD-3900Z dock (7.5” x 2.8” x 5.3”), 24W power adapter with US wall plug (100-240V, 50/60Hz, 1.5m / 5ft), USB-A (USB 3.0) to USB-B cable (0.9m / 2.95 ft), USB-C to USB-B host cable (2.9m / 9.5 ft), and quick-install guide.

This triple display docking station turns your Mac or Windows laptop into a full workstation with a DisplayPort output, two HDMI outputs, and a VGA output, with resolution support up to 4K (3840 x 2160) on two displays and 1080p on the other one. You can also use your laptop screen for four displays in total, making it easy to access multiple applications at once. With 100W Power Delivery, three USB 3.0 ports, and a USB-C port, this docking station is perfect for your MacBook, Dell XPS, or other USB-C laptop requiring additional ports. This USB 3.0 docking station is also equipped with a RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port, memory card reader/writer, and combo audio jack for maximum productivity. The elevated design assists with heat dissipation and, with its double-sided cable storage compartment, ensures an easy connection regardless of your USB-C port’s location. All 13 ports are combined into one slim docking station, so you’ll have all the connections you need to stay productive!

Your mobile device is nearly (if not more) powerful than your laptop. And, while its portability is impressive, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t add an HDMI screen, a couple of USB 3.0 ports, SD expansion, 100W pass-through charging, and a trusty audio jack when you’re working at a desk. The Little Screen Becomes the Big Screen: The Plugable USB-C Docking Station with Tablet Stand or Phone Stand (UDS-7IN1) adds functionality to your Windows tablet, M1 or M2 iPad Air or iPad Pro. Let’s start with your screen—when it comes time to get actual work done, the pinch and zoom will only get you so far. Extend to a bigger screen with a 4K 30Hz capable HDMI port. It’s like going from fun-sized to full-sized. 8-IN-1: Your content is looking real sharp on that big, 4K screen, but a bigger screen is just the start. What if you could add a real keyboard? And a real mouse? Then you’d be ready to get some real work done. In addition to the 4K HDMI port, this hub lets you power up with 100W pass-through charging (91W output), add a mouse and keyboard (or whatever you need) to the two USB 3.0 (5Gbps) ports, expand with SD and MicroSD ports, and tune out with the audio jack. Hub and Stand in One: As a hub, you get port expansion. As a stand, you get solid aluminum construction that manages to be incredibly durable and still light enough to carry with you. But don’t let its potential for portability fool you—the UDS-7IN1 still has just enough heft to hoist your iPad Pro 12.9. And the feeling of quality continues through to the hinges, too. With enough tension to stay put when you tap away at the screen, you might be surprised by the satisfying slide you experience when adjusting the stand for the perfect angle. And if you do decide to take it with you, the UDS-7IN1 folds flat enough to fit in your bag
