Handy portable A/C can cool a small room quickly
This unit gets the job done and can cool a small room quickly. It took around 10 min to bring a 150 sqft room down a couple of degrees to room temp (21 C / 70 F). The unit can be somewhat loud so you may need to use earplugs or headphones to block out the noise (and/or listen to your phone/computer). On the lowest setting with the fan only (no cooling), the noise isn't too bad. If it's really hot and/or humid, there's a turbo function that can cool a room quickly. The remote can track room temp and cool the room based on its location. However, the remote doesn't show the current temp and only shows the target temp. Moreover, it doesn't have a backlit keypad and some display indicators aren't backlit either (e.g. Auto/Cool/Dry mode, Fan speed, etc.) The vertical/horizontal swing modes are convenient for ventilating a wide area. The window kit is easy to setup but depending on your window size, the panel might either be too short or too long (e.g. the single panel is too short for my window, but with the extension at the shortest length it's too long). So you'll need to cover up any exposed area with cardboard, insulation, etc. Tip: When using the drain hose, connect it to the middle drain port and make sure you monitor your drain pan/bucket (not included) as it can fill quickly depending on humidity.

Small but powerful
Nice smaller unit for limited space. I originally had a much larger unit that covered 600 square feet but it was too large for our master bedroom. This unit is smaller and keeps the room icy cold.
