For maximum performance from your KICKER subwoofer, we recommend using an amplifier with an RMS power rating that is within + or - 20% of the speakers RMS power rating. For the KICKER CompR 10" that would be an amplifier with an RMS rating between 320- and 480-Watts RMS. Check the RMS ratings on your amplifier to see if it falls within this range. If your amplifier is 500 Watts RMS that would be fine.
