Q: How are the lights controled? Is a remote needed/included?

A: Yes, a remote is needed and is not included but will cost around $50. If you don’t care about changing the color, when installing the speakers you can select from the many colored ground wires ( or combination of wires ) to get the color you want. It will stay this color without changing.

Q: I wired my speakers in but have no sound. Do the LED wires have to be connected? I just folded them up into a bag and for a later date of connection

A: You do Not have to wire the LED. I did not hook mine up and speakers work great in my boat.

A: It may take a bit of modifications I used a bit of silicone with the factory grills and they look like they did from the factory

Not impressed.
Sound quality is poor, and can’t handle much bass without distorting at higher volume, also they list as 6.5 inch speakers and they don’t fit like the previous 6.5 speakers I replaced they seem more like 6.25 at best.

Awesome Audio Quality!
I've had these four kickers for three weeks now, and they are awesome. They can handle high volumes, bass, and have an extremely clear sound. I would highly recommend getting these for your car or boat.
