  • Features
    • Hard Food Disposer: false (This feature has blades to chop and disintegrate hard food particles, making them small enough to easily drain away. This prevents them from being recirculated back onto dishware and allows for easy maintenance.)
    • Drying Method: Heated drying (Appliances that use heat to dry the dishes will include a heating element or minerals which transform moisture into heat. A fan or vent then circulates the hot dry air throughout the tub during the drying cycle. This may reduce drying time and the risk of water spots. Appliances that use minerals to produce heat are considered more energy efficient than those that include a heating element. Appliances that use condensation drying are considered more energy efficient than those that use heated drying. Instead, high temperature water is produced during the final rinse cycle which warms the interior and eventually condensates and drains out of the machine.)
    • Operating Sound Level: 39 decibels adjusted (Today's appliances are pretty quiet. To get a sense for how quiet you'll need, think about having a conversation in the same room. Quiet Powerhouse 2 1/2 years in

I purchased this KitchenAid 24" Front Control Dishwasher back in November 2022, and it’s hands down one of the best appliance decisions I’ve ever made. From day one, it has delivered exceptional cleaning performance, and after two years of daily use, it still runs like brand new, average operation 1-2 per week. The ProWash Cycle automatically adjusts to the load and has never let me down — everything from delicate glassware to pots with baked-on food comes out spotless. The 3rd rack is a game changer; it gives so much extra room for utensils and smaller items, freeing up space on the lower racks. This was a must-have for me and it has definitely lived up to the hype. What truly stands out is the quiet operation. At just 39 dBA, it’s so silent that I often have to check the indicator light to confirm it’s even running. That’s been a huge plus in an open-concept home where kitchen noise usually travels. Compared to my old GE (no shade) which we could often hear in operation from our upstairs bedroom. The PrintShield stainless steel finish still looks fantastic, resisting fingerprints and smudges far better than my old dishwasher. It still looks brand new, which is impressive after nearly two years of regular use. Overall, this dishwasher has been a perfect mix of style, reliability, and performance. If you’re on the fence. When we had the repair tech from Geek Squad come out to look at the old machine, we asked his opinion on replacement items (repair wasn't worth the cost) and Kitchen Aid and Bosch were high on his list of recommended brands. I can confidently say it’s been worth every penny.

    New KitchenAid dishwasher !!!

Before purchasing this product, I spent a fair amount of time to decide which dishwasher was the best one to buy. It was worth the time reading reviews and that’s how I made my decision. Hands down…… best decision ever . I paid for the install and the crew did a fantastic job. I also purchased the separate hook up kit which was installed. They cleaned up and made sure it was ready to go. I have filled up the dishwasher 5 times now with no problems. I CANNOT believe how quiet this machine is !!! My husband asked me a few times, did you start it? I am very happy with everything. I haven’t used the top rack yet !! Clean squeaky glasses and plates and silverware . I used the Finish samples inside the unit. I highly recommend this machine. Lots of room inside. I couldn’t have picked a better dishwasher !!

    Solid, quiet, nice features

We’ve had KitchenAid products before and a KitchenAid dishwasher in our previous house. They’re not cheap but you get what you pay for. I installed this myself and it took three hours. It would’ve been closer to two had I worked with another pair of hands but being a stubborn idiot I was adamant I didn’t need help. Slow and steady wins the race. The dishwasher itself cleans very well. We really only use one setting - normal + dry. It’s quiet (the sound insulation does the trick) and does easy to operate. I prefer simple operation panel and this has that. I found our previous Samsung a bit slow to respond when I pushed the buttons. This responds right away. Could have been the machine, could have been a Samsung thing. Don’t know. Either way, I like this thing. The top third rack was a new feature for us and we really like it - for jar lids, larger utensils and silverware. Being at the top of the dishwasher, it makes it a nice quick transfer to the silverware drawer at the same height in the kitchen rather than pulling out the movable silverware container. That’s fine too and bigger than previous containers. The top is a little finicky to “slide” off but it’s a not a big deal. It’s too early to see if this thing will cause problems but so far so good.
