A: I have not had it that long but most of the surface seems scratch resistant but i’m Careful to lift my pans not drag them. This cooktop does need cleaning with glass cooktop cleaning after every use but I imagine all glass cooktops do! There aren’t many choices for downdrafts that I was replacing.
Q: Does this come in silver stainless steel color?
A: It has 2 types: all black and stainless frame

Q: Can I install a 24" wide wall oven underneath this cooktop with downdraft?
A: Unfortunately, no. The fan, motor, and duct work do not allow sufficient space in the cabinet for an oven.

Cooktop that performs like a champ
excellent Cooktop, high quality and super easy to use, fan is silent, the only down side is that this unit was in back order mine took four months to get it. otherwise great, happy wife, life is good!!!
