Charcoal Filter
Charcoal Filter (optional accessory) helps to neutralize unpleasant odors from the extraction system, reducing the chances of them lingering or being recirculated into your home.
Power Boost Function
Power Setting allows you to exceed the maximum heat-level setting for up to 5 minutes, helping you get to a rapid boil.
External or Recirculating Venting Options
External or Recirculating Venting Options allow for more flexibility on how your downdraft cooktop vents. Choose between external ventilation or convert to duct-free recirculation (kit sold separately), ideal for installation in an island.
Frameless Design
Frameless Design allows for flush installation for a seamless look, or standard installation to fit an existing cooktop cutout.
Pan Size Detection
Pan Size Detection recognizes the size and placement of cookware to generate heat directly within the pan. Display will alert you if you turn the cooktop on without a pan on the selected element or if your pan is not compatible with induction cooking.
Works with Most High-Quality Cookware
Works with Most High-Quality Cookware such as multi-ply stainless steel, enamelled steel or cast iron. Aluminum and copper cookware will not work unless it has a base made of iron or steel. Look for pans marked "Works with Induction" or test to see if a magnet will stick to the bottom.
Power-On Indicator Light
Power Indicator light lets you know at a glance when an element is on.
Hot-Surface Indicator Light
Hot-Surface Indicator Light provides a clear indicator that a cooking surface is on or still hot to the touch.
Control Lock for Cleaning
Control Lock disables cooking mode for 10 seconds to allow for cleaning when the cooktop is not in use. Press the hand icon to lock controls and easily wipe off grease or splatters.
