About this product
Limited neon pink vinyl LP pressing. The legendary Slovenian group's first original studio album since 2014's Spectre, Musick - intensely pop, yet intensely Laibach. Available via Mute on limited edition neon pink vinyl and CD. This record simultaneously celebrates and critiques the current era of warped reality and AI imitation. The title reflects a duality an oversaturation, being Inchsick of musicInch in an age where over 100,000 new tracks, many AI-generated, are uploaded daily, making us question reality; and a Inchpathological devotionInch that continues to drive the band. The maximalist creation process in their Ljubljana studio involved analogue synths, toys, computers with sound apps, and collaborators like Donna Marina Mårtensson and Richard X. They drew influences from K-pop, J-pop, and '90s Eurodance, yet maintained that their Inchprimary influence and reference point remained Laibach itself.Inch

Kuroma - Kuromarama (LP) [VINYL LP] date 04/07/2015
Limited Editon Clear Vinyl. Laibach's 2014 album Spectre returns on limited edition clear vinyl, available once more on Mute after years out of print. A record that unfolds like a political manifesto in poetic form, Spectre is one of Laibach's most direct and outspoken works. Long known for ambiguity and provocation, the group sharpened their message for this record, confronting global politics head-on while continuing to blur the line between critique and complicity. Opening with the popular Laibach track 'The Whistleblowers' - a rousing, whistle-led showcase of their Inchmilitant & symphonicInch sound - the album sets it's tone early bold, anthemic and disarmingly immediate. There's a sense of exhaustion and repetition in Spectre that feels prescient now, reflecting a world in which political cycles, outrage and ideology seem to loop endlessly, often without resolution. Less like a retrospective listen and more like an ongoing conversation - a record that is still relevant today.
