About this product
Limited Editon Clear Vinyl. Laibach's 2014 album Spectre returns on limited edition clear vinyl, available once more on Mute after years out of print. A record that unfolds like a political manifesto in poetic form, Spectre is one of Laibach's most direct and outspoken works. Long known for ambiguity and provocation, the group sharpened their message for this record, confronting global politics head-on while continuing to blur the line between critique and complicity. Opening with the popular Laibach track 'The Whistleblowers' - a rousing, whistle-led showcase of their Inchmilitant & symphonicInch sound - the album sets it's tone early bold, anthemic and disarmingly immediate. There's a sense of exhaustion and repetition in Spectre that feels prescient now, reflecting a world in which political cycles, outrage and ideology seem to loop endlessly, often without resolution. Less like a retrospective listen and more like an ongoing conversation - a record that is still relevant today.

Mayhem formed in Oslo, Norway, in 1984 & is infamous as one of the early Scandinavian purveyors of black metal, made even more legendary after the well-documented murder of original Mayhem guitarist Euronymous in 1993. This live album was recorded at a performance at the Rainbow Club in Milan, Italy in November 1998. The line-up features the returning early Mayhem vocalist Maniac, plus Hellhammer on drums, Necrobutcher on bass & Blasphemer on guitar. The show also featureed a guest appearance by now-current Mayhem vocalist Attila Csihar on the track 'From the Dark Past'.With it's well captured sound & the noticeably stunning drum work of Hellhammer, the band themselves considered this worthy of being labelled an official , as Mayhem storm through a strong set full of classics from old releases 'Deathcrush' & 'De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas', to the post-Euronymous compositions as featured on 'Wolf's Lair Abyss'. Expect nothing but dark & chaotic black metal carnage. This edition of 'Mediolanum Capta Est' is presented on classic black vinyl.

Limited neon pink vinyl LP pressing. The legendary Slovenian group's first original studio album since 2014's Spectre, Musick - intensely pop, yet intensely Laibach. Available via Mute on limited edition neon pink vinyl and CD. This record simultaneously celebrates and critiques the current era of warped reality and AI imitation. The title reflects a duality an oversaturation, being Inchsick of musicInch in an age where over 100,000 new tracks, many AI-generated, are uploaded daily, making us question reality; and a Inchpathological devotionInch that continues to drive the band. The maximalist creation process in their Ljubljana studio involved analogue synths, toys, computers with sound apps, and collaborators like Donna Marina Mårtensson and Richard X. They drew influences from K-pop, J-pop, and '90s Eurodance, yet maintained that their Inchprimary influence and reference point remained Laibach itself.Inch
