As you'll see, it can definitely play a lot of games on LOW graphics settings with a decent framerate, but it's not a great gaming experience. If you really want a good beginner gaming laptop go with one that has an integrated graphics card like the Nvidia GTX 1650. The cheapest gaming laptops out there right now are around $700.
Q: Is this a suitable laptop for students?
A: I would say so. With 8gigs of ram the i3 does pretty well. It's not a gaming laptop that's for sure. It's great for web surfing, emails, YouTube, and typing. I really like the full keyboard also.
