I bought this laptop on sale for $900. I use it for streaming movies, YouTube, productivity (word, excel, PowerPoint, email, etc.). I also use it for video calls and some light gaming (Rise of Nations on steam to be exact). I absolutely love this laptop. It has everything I need a laptop to do plus a little extra. It has a beautiful display (not 4k, but i am sure that makes the battery life as amazing as it is.) The full HD webcam is much appreciated. It is a super snappy device and multi-tasks really well. The folding feature is less practical in a computer this size but it is still super cool, and it’s nice to use the tent mode for streaming movies. I have always had 13 inch MacBooks so this much larger device took some getting used to but I love having a large, beautiful, high quality screen to watch movies. It’s also not as heavy as I imagined, although it is a little unwieldy. The design of this laptop is also stunning. It’s all metal, and no fingerprints which is awesome. If I were to gripe about anything I would say that the sound was a little different than I expected (a little tinny maybe) but it is still very good and the Dolby atmos thing made it super loud and it almost feels like you are in a movie theater with surround sound. Another tiny criticism would be that I wish the screen was slightly brighter, using it outside or in a room with a lot of sunlight would be a little annoying with the screen’s glossy finish, but it is still an incredibly bright screen. This is my first PC laptop as I have always used MacBooks so I might be just a little spoiled when it comes to brightness because there are not a lot of laptops period with more than 400 nits of brightness and certainly not at this price point. Again the battery life is very good, you can toggle the performance up or down as well to help improve that. It also has a feature that estimates how much battery you have left based on your usage. The keyboard is excellent and is backlit. It has a nice, large trackpad. You can’t click everywhere on the trackpad like you can on MacBooks but it is still really good and responsive. It also has a super useful number keypad which I never knew that I needed. The touchscreen is super responsive and equivalent to every iPad that I’ve ever used. It also has lots of lots of ports. Overall, it is a fast laptop with a great display and keyboard with a quality design and a battery that lasts as long as anybody would need.

This laptop has a sharp easy to read screen. The construction seems to be quality materials and rugged. I like the standard style USB charger so it is easy to buy a spare. Performance is as expected with the SSD and processor giving it excellent speed. Battery life is excellent. I charge it every 2 or 3 days depending on amount of use. The backlighted keyboard is nice when in a dark room. This replaced my HP laptop that was literally falling apart after 2 years use.

This is my first new laptop since 2014. I bought this in August 2022 for college. Love how sleek the design is, and love the fingerprint recognition features. Laptop is fast, lighweight, efficient; and exactly what I needed for school. The only flaw i would point out is that the battery life on this laptop when in use is much less than what is advertised. I am not running heavy programs at all, the internet browser, youtube, and Word at THE most, and I need a full charge after only 4-5 hours. So if you’re looking for long battery life on a single charge, this laptop falls short.

Great display and reliable. Responsive touch screen. I got a 16GB ram 500ssd. I hope this computer will serve me for the next 5 years. Impressive battery life. Went from apple to pc. For business purposesz

These are the reasons I did not give 5 stars: The machine is mostly efficient and easy to set it up. However, it has some default controls (like dimming brightness after a few seconds of not in use) which I know they can be changed but that's one more thing to do. Processor is efficient up to expectation, but wireless connectivity sometimes is slow. A little disappointed of download speed when wireless.

I bought a scartch and dent saved about 400 bucks.. was a little worried bc the box had corner damaged.. butttt it was a mint cpu.. very pleased w cpu super strong fast and touch screen is money.. volume is loud.. brigtness is plenty high and w number key pad on a 16inch 7th gen intel 16 gig, 550 ssd all for about $850.. yeah cant beat it ! Lenovo for the W.. (ALSO HAVE THE LEGION 5, BOMB CPU)!

Excellent laptop all round, Cool aesthetic and the flip feature makes it really convenient for watching movies and stuff The core I7 and high RAM also gives room to game. Worth the money

I love my Lenova yoga computer/laptop. I purchased it for my Karaoke DJ/KJ business. The graphics are insane. It runs all my Karoake programs flawlessly without digital fragmentation. It is touch screen which I was hesitant about because of a previous (different brand) and the touchpad/touch screen went bad so the screen would take over the cursor and was all over the place. The Lenovo has performed extremely well. I love it!

The laptop I purchased was listed as Open-Box Excellent. But when I picked up the item in store, no box and clearly it was used for a certain amount of time. Scratches everywhere. It should be listed as Fair instead. And the “shift” key isn’t working properly. All lower cases can be typed. But I can’t type most of upper cases. Since the price was so low and I can just buy an Bluetooth keyboard instead, I decided to keep it instead of returning the purchase.

Great product for a reasonable cost. Would recommend to family and friends.

I purchase online and I was clear about the resources of this laptop, but having it in my possession I realized how luxurious it is.

These are my initial impressions of this pc. This is a big and solid laptop. Build quality is excellent but just shy of what I would say is premium. The power button looks a bit crooked and the keyboard just has a bit of a cheap feeling although it has nice keys and seems accurate. For the price it certainly punches above most others in this class in terms of build quality. I had purchased another laptop before this and although it was thinner and lighter and bit more aesthetically pleasing did not feel nearly as sturdy. This device feels like it will last a long time. It also doesn't show fingerprints the minute you use it. The performance of this device is really impressive. You can adjust the settings to make it battery friendly or a beast. In performance or beast mode it scores close to 1700 single core and 9900 multi core on geekbench 5. That is some serious performance. I could notice it was about 15-30% faster than the other laptop I had with the same specs. So if you want something that is not a gaming notebook but still has a serious punch this is it. Again for the price even at full price you are getting a good deal. The screen is 16/10 format and I really like it. I was using a device with a Full HD OLED screen 15.6" and the colors on OLED really are amazing. This is an IPS with 2.5k resolution which I feel is perfect as it is not 4k which can bog down resources but is higher than Full HD so you never see pixels. Perfect resolution. Screen brightness is not bad. I prefer 500 nits but that is not in many devices. This is 400 nits which is very good. You will not have an issue with brightness. Colors look good and saturated and angles don't get distorted. Keyboard and mouse pad. Feels like a glass trackpad which I prefer. It is a bit clicky and loud but accurate. The keyboard has a good amount of travel on the keys and is very accurate for me. There is no flex at all on the keyboard. This is a great keyboard and trackpad. I also like the num pad. The speakers are surprisingly good. There are a couple of top firing speakers and a couple on the bottom. Sound quality is loud and rich for a laptop. For the money on sale I don't think you can find a better laptop. The Intel 1260p is very fast. The DDR5 ram and PCI 4 ssd are also excellent. This has a fingerprint reader and windows hello camera which you have the ability to cover the camera mechanically. The all aluminum build is very sturdy. It is a little heavy being a 16" device and the aluminum build but I would rather it be a little heavier and sturdier than so lightweight you could easily break something by picking it up. These are mobile devices so a quality build is important. I have not had this long enough to determine battery life but it has a large battery and a 400 nit screen so it should last a long time depending on the workload. If you are streaming or just browsing the net it should last a long time. Should get through a solid 8 hours of mixed workloads. I am pretty impressed with this device for the cost. I usually wait a couple days to write a review but this was so good I had to give my initial impressions. I will add battery life later if I can edit the review later. All in all if you are thinking of this laptop you should probably just get it. It excels in every category and is a steal for the price.

ASUS Zenbook Flip 15.6” OLED i7 (12700H) vs LENOVO Yoga 16” i7 (1260P) As a photographer and software engineer, I have had an iBuyPower desktop from July 2020. It’s spec’d with i9-12900KF, Nvidia 3070i and 64GB of DDR4 ram. Being a desktop, this locked me in the office any time I wanted to use the pc for anything casual. Watching YouTube, or doing simple stuff like browsing the web was getting tiresome on my phone so I figured I would get a tablet. As I examined the options, I found I was not happy with the limited functionality of a tablet at laptop prices so I started my search among the Windows ultra book offerings such as Surface Pro series. However, again, crazy prices had me back to considering tablets. As a photographer, I already have a top spec’d desktop that I use to do my heavy lifting. However, I wanted something more portable to use around the house, wanted to spend less than $1000 and wanted the most performance I could get for my money. With the recent sales on ultrabook category of laptops, 2-1 flip styled machines became affordable at less than $1000. I was able to purchase 2 different ultra-thin flip books to try out. Started with the Lenovo Yoga 16” with i7-1260P cpu, 16GB ram, 512GB storage and intel iris Xe 96EU (on sale $800). The Good: I absolutely loved the build construction. Very Solid. Lenovo’s integrated software design was impeccable with everything running nice and smooth like butter. Great Battery life. The Bad: Less processor performance of the 1260P family (That’s not even the high end version of the series of P chips, it’s the lowest. Great battery life but at a cost to performance). Display brightness only 400 nits. Seemed kind of muddy, dirty appearance. The solid build and size makes the laptop very heavy so didn’t like carrying it around the house. In spite of the shortcomings (in my opinion) I really loved using this solid laptop. Next, tried the Asus Zenbook Flip 15.6” OLED with i7-12700H, 16GB ram, 512GB storage and intel iris Xe 96EU (also on sale for $800). The Good: I7-12700H, top performance in the i7 portables cpu pile. The monitor is AMAZING, bright and vibrant! Lightweight and smaller, very easy to walk around the house with it. The Bad: Battery not as good (…which is expected if looking for performance vs battery life) Out of the box, the monitor’s color calibration made my eyes bleed from the oversaturation. Had a bear of a time finding out how to adjust and resolve (Found that enabling HDR in the ASUS settings software completely fixed this) Build construction not near as good with more surface flex on the outer lid and the keyboard deck. ASUS integrated software not near as good as Lenovo’s with small glitches (Example-While screen rotation works going from laptop mode to tent mode, going back from tent mode to laptop mode has never worked and I have to close the lid to reset the screen orientation. Performance is my primary priority on a computer, so I gave up the Lenovo and sticking with the ASUS. Even though I so very much loved using the Lenovo and feel like it was the best build between the two, I couldn’t get over the performance compromise due to the lesser cpu. I ALLLLMOST returned the ASUS because of the oversaturation of the display as that was a deal breaker but finding a solution at the 11th hour resolved the decision for me. Just my perspective. You may have other priorities that will influence your decision. They are both excellent laptops for business/leisure in my opinion.

My wife is the actual user for this laptop, so this is mostly a summary of her feedback. First of all, the price/quality & performance ratio of this laptop is fantastic when on sale. The quality overall seems great, but only time will tell. This was purchased to replace a 2 year old 2 in 1 HP Envy laptop for which the hinge suddenly broke and shattered the screen. I considered repairing it (have some experience doing that), but the damage was to extensive and it was just not worth it (the laptop still works when connected to en external monitor though, so I might have some use for it). My wife is now concerned with this happening again on this new laptop though since she read Lenovo had some serious issues with hinges not long ago. She loves the screen (too reflective for me though, I love matte screens), she also likes the keyboard and touchpad (she uses touch screens though). The battery doesn't seem too great from what she told me, but she stays plugged in most of the time, so it's not a big deal. She definitely sees a speed bump from her previous machine (that had a Ryzen 5 5500U) and loves the snappiness. Wifi has been working fine so far (she had some issues with her HP machine) and all devices she has connected at this point have been recognized with no problems (a couple of USB keys, external monitors via HDMI and USB-C to HDMI adaptor). Now for the negatives. She hates the camera quality and almost returned the laptop for that reason. I took a quick look and for a 1080 camera, I agree it's really not that great. Reviews for this machine mention the great camera quality, so something is off. I will take another look when I can. It is hopefully a software issue and not just a really crappy or defective sensor. Another issue is that the laptop does not always turn off fully. When turning off, everything seems to shut down (black screen, keyboard backlight off, etc.), but the fans continue to spin. Only a hard shutdown (holding the power for 4+ seconds and then turning back on) brings the machine back up. This might be another software issue (hopefully). I heard Windows (and Mac) machines can have issues going to sleep or shutting down, but I would expect this to be ironed out by now (assuming this is what's going on this machine). Overall, if all issues can be ironed out, this is a very good laptop than should meet and exceed the needs of most users. For people like me (software developer) who need more performance, upgradability (memory is soldered on this model, SSD can be replaced) this is not the best option (you probably didn't consider this machine).

I have owned this laptop for almost a month. So far, I like it lot. The display is very nice with a quick-response touchscreen. It was easy to set-up and transfer files, apps and a few other items. I performed the updates immediately and removed a bunch of junk apps. I have never had a laptop with an SSD, so I did not realize that it has a fan and can get quite warm and noisy. I did contact Lenovo and they advised to update the BIOS with an update available on their website. This seems to have worked, but it still gets warmer than I would like as I do use it as a true lap-top. I have had several, so I know not to have it on a pillow or blanket in my lap to keep the cooling vents clear. The touch pad is very responsive, and I also downloaded a user guide from Lenovo as there are some tips (keyboard shortcuts and the like) in the guide. It says it uses Lenovo Pen and I have been trying to find out how to get a pen and how to use it. I think this would be very useful. For the price, it should have included the pen, but I am used to things not being included anymore. As a retired person, I was spoiled in the early years when everything you needed was included; now cellphones don't even come with a charger block anymore - silly, but profitable for the companies. This is my second 2-in-1 laptop. While I don't use the feature often, I really like to have the option. Wi-Fi is very good as well, with Wi-Fi 6 capability. I do have a Netgear Nighthawk router with Wi-Fi 6 capability and it works very well. I would recommend to anyone who wants a fast, big-screen, reliable laptop. My older eyes appreciate a beautiful, bright, 16" screen. It is very light and has all of the features that I wanted. As a sidenote, Justin and Alex at the Plover, WI Best Buy made this an excellent transaction providing outstanding customer service!

All computers are basically the same. Biggest distinguishing feature besides the looks of the machine would be the display. I wear prescription glasses, and this display is by far the best. allow me to explain what I didn't like about other laptop displays. Asus OLED is somewhat saturated for me, unpleasant for me to stare at. Dell 3k 16" laptop display I would squint to read text with white background, not sure why I had a hard time with it. Asus gaming Chromebook display caused eye irritation. and there are others with similar characteristics. This display has a perfect balance of vibrance and subtleness. Text is sharp and easy to distinguish/read. No eye strain or irritation. I can easily read off this display for hours without an issue. Also notice less eye floaters. Using this machine for schooling purposes only and battery life out lasts my study sessions. Great build quality, once you get your hands on one, you'll see what I mean, solid aluminum chassis. Fans don't engage during schooling activities, so it's quiet. Best display of any machine out there. all computers have the same guts, so display is biggest decision maker.

Great laptop! Solid build, fast and very good display. I purchased this on sale recently to replace an aging machine and this surpasses all my past laptop purchases. The screen is nice and bright, clear and easy to view. I purchased this spreadsheet work and it fills the bill nicely. Fans are quiet, and the backlight keyboard is a plus. The addition of the numeric keyboard due to the 16" size makes input real easy. Not too heavy and easy to handle. Battery life is excellent and recharge is fast. Highly recommended for business and home use, not sure about gaming.

Agree with what most others are saying with this model - this is an amazing deal for what you get, especially on sale. The 12th Intel i7 processor that's in here is largely what you'll find in other, more expensive models, along with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. The screen is also on the higher end with a 2K 16" 16:10 screen. Tons of ports as well. It's not small by any means but you also know what you're getting with a 16" laptop. Feels very solid and well built as well. In terms of productivity, you will not find a better deal/value than this machine.

I've had this Lenovo laptop for two years, and it still feels brand new. It's incredibly versatile, with a full 10-key keyboard, multiple ports, and excellent portability. The keyboard is far superior to other brands I’ve used, which for me, is a necessary component for both travel and day-to-day work. Several of my colleagues switched to Lenovo per my guidance after ongoing problems with their Dell or HP laptops. Every one of them agrees: this machine is lightyears better. Battery life is fine. I can stream movies or power through an off-site workday for around 6 hours without needing to plug in. For my needs, it's more than enough. Highly recommended for reliability, performance, and overall value.

I was very excited to purchase this 2 in 1. I knew Lenovo produced good computers with a good service support and this computer had an excellent configuration at a reasonable cost. I would have given this a 3 1/2 but rounded it up to 4 stars because I think that many of the problems that I had were a one computer deal, or in other words, I got the proverbial lemon. The Good: Excellent Display (with one exception, see below) and colors. Fast performance Excellent tech and customer support with good follow up (both community blog and tech support) Large screen (I got spoiled) Keyboard Fingerprint sensor Sturdy build I spend most of my time in Mexico and I was able to get an extended warranty in Mexico. Neutral The touchpad is too big and to the left for me. This is something that I could get used to. I knew that it was a heavy laptop, but I didn't plan on using it as a tablet, and it was not too heavy to carry around in my backpack, so the weight wasn't important to me. The Bad or not so good The laptop was staticky when it was charging. The sound was not clear, or musically accurate (I did not know of all the customization you could do with the Dolby Atmos or if that would have helped) but after reinstalling the drivers and resetting the laptop, decided I could live with it. The screen faded in and out when the computer was not plugged in. (I was having the same problem on my new Lenovo and found that the problem went away if I did NOT use the brightness optimization in the settings. Might be a sensor issue?) I had an occasional delay in display response. I would type in a letter and it would take a few seconds to display. I would type in the letter, look at the screen, not see the letter and retype the letter, eventually resulting in several of the same letters being displayed. I reluctantly returned the computer to Best Buy and purchased a different computer, which I liked, but it was a 'Made for Best Buy model' and I couldn't purchase an extended warranty (either U.S. or Mexico) from the company. I would only have been covered by Best Buy TotalTech, which would have been good if there were Best Buy stores in Mexico. I was also spoiled the The Lenovo's 16" screen and wanted the bigger screen. I ended up purchasing another Lenovo, directly from Lenovo because Best Buy didn't have the configuration that I wanted.
