Q: What is the difference between this LRFCS2503S and the similar LRFCS25D3S?

A: It appears that the LRFCS2503S has a built in water filter. The LRFCS25D3S does not.

Q: Do you have to have the ice maker, I have hard water, and wont us it.

A: We are not using the ice maker. It can be turned off and the tray is removable so it is easy enough to not use it.

A: Previous answer is incorrect. This model refrigerator does not have a filter. There is much misinformation about this, even by the manufacturer. Its pathetic.

Q: How do you adjust the shelves seems like their locked in?

A: The shelves are adjustable by lifting the end closest to you and lifting the shelf out. Place the shelf in a different slot. It's pretty straightforward.
