Q: I have this item arriving today, what is the under cabinet height? I know it's specs say 70", but the three is a drop after the door. How much space do I need under my cabinets?

Q: Installed yesterday at noon has not stopped running and is loud. Bought fridge because reviews said it’s quiet, will this improve? I was told to turn the ice maker on before bed last night. I turned it on at midnight and 7 hours later no ice.

A: Ice takes about 24 hours. The fridge cools everything down slowly by zones. Once it hits ideal temp in the freezer which is around 0 it will make ice. Ours did it too. I was getting concerned. Once it starts it makes it fast. The tray in the freezer and in the door stays full. As far as the noise I haven’t noticed a lot of noise. I know it ran for a while to cool down though.

Q: what is wifi needed for other than Alexa

A: It will send you a message through LG SmartThinQ. I have received one already telling me ice was jammed in the door ice maker.

Q: Can you turn the dual ice maker off and remove the basket from the freezer?

Q: Is the door surface magnetic? There seem to be conflicting reviews about this, and also one that says while LG said that it is, they weren't able to stick magnets on it.

A: The doors are magnetic as are the sides

Q: Can the doors be removed so it will come through my 36in.back door?

A: When they brought mine, they took off the handles, and they removed the front door, which is 35 inches

Q: How do I get the freezer ice maker to make ice?

A: There's an on/off button at the very top of the ice maker in the lower freezer compartment. Up is on and down is off.

Q: Can I put up against wall with a minimal gap? Some fridges have thick doors and interfere with opening

A: Our gap is about 1 to 1-1/2 inches so it’s pretty tight compared to other fridges we’ve owned. Hope this helps and good luck!
