Q: Can the monitor be displayed in a vertical position using the included stand?
A: The 29UM68-P cannot be displayed vertically. ^CP
Q: Can the PIP be set for the audio output (i.e. monitor a TV program while computing)?
A: Yes, you can setup this monitor to output audio stream through the Sub screen view. Don't listen to LG support, they don't know their own products. The 29UM68-P has stereo speakers and they are usable, much better than tiny speakers Asus puts on their monitors.
Q: is the screen glossy or matte?
A: Not glossy. Very good, bright picture.
