A: HDMI Port(s) -3 (HDCP 2.2)
Q: What is the difference from this model and model 50UH5500?
A: This tv also lists an ips panel versus a VA panel. IPS has better viewing angles and color representation, but VA has much lower lag time and supposedly better contrast.
Q: Can I use Amazon video app on this tv?
A: Yes you can, the apps out of the box are: Vudu, Netflix, Hulu, Google Play, YouTube and Amazon Video. Some others but don' recall those.
A: Same issue here Paul with the same model! Seems to be a known issue and Lg support is useless! Luckily I got the Geek Squad Protection. I'll keep you posted on the outcome.
A: Yes. It has web browser.
Q: What are the built in apps ? Can we add more apps like Youtube, Xfinity, Sling etc.?
A: So far there's only a hand full available Vudu,Youtube,Google Movies & Tv,Amazon Video,Crackle,Spotify,Hulu,Netflix and a couple more. You can't add more unless is added through LG's app store.
Q: What is the distance between the feet on the TV (Maximum distance and minimum distance)?
A: Directly under the TV the feet are 34" apart. Measured from the tips of the feet as they angle out, the distance is 39". Most importantly, the distance from the bottom of the feet to the bottom of the TV is 2". So, if your soundbar is more than 2" high, it will not fit under the TV, and if you place your soundbar in front of the TV, it will block the IR sensor on the bottom of the TV. I had to put books under the TV to raise it high enough that the soundbar would not obstruct the IR input.
A: Refresh Rate is 60 Hz - can be found on the lg.com website
