Review will be taken down by BB because it's true!

BestBuy is NOT a reliable company. I purchased the TV and didn't open box right away, but when I had time to open the box the screen was all cracked and couldn't get out of box due to how badly it was damaged. Called BestBuy for refund - was told I had 15 days to inspect and return (unless I was a paid member, I'd have 60 days). I was told unfortunately regarding the cost - "you will have to eat it." <- exact words I was told by the customer service representative. They reimbursed my GeekSquad purchase I made with the TV, but would NOT let me return the TV. The representative stated "how to we know you didn't break it and are now trying to return it?" I'm posting this review to get a $25 certificate and buy a TV again - to inspect it and make sure it is not broken. Review your purchase within 15 days of arrival.

    TV LG

The picture is clear and bright. Lots of apps already loaded so no need to search. Remote is easy to use since I'm 65 and the simpler the better. It also shows movie suggestions which is a plus. The LG was a great price and you get alot for the price.

    Perfect for a bedroom

Bought this on sale for my bedroom. Looks great. Paired it with a cheap soundbar and a sub I already had and it is perfect.

  • What's the difference between the LG qned 74B and the 75b? thanks

The LG QNED74B and QNED75B series are highly similar entry-to-mid-level 4K Mini LED TVs from LG. The QNED74B series is offered in 85", 50", and 43" screen sizes, and it features two HDMI 2.0 ports. The QNED75B is offered in 85", 75", 65", 55", 50", and 43" screen sizes, and it features three HDMI 2.0 ports. As the word "detached' implies, it means the power cord for the LG 50" Class 74B Series QNED AI Mini LED 4K Smart webOS TV (2026), Model # 50QNED74BUA, is not attached (i.e., hardwired) to the TV. It is a detached power cord that plugs into the power socket on the back of the TV...^Ivan.

  • What is weight of TV

Hello, Gloria! Thank you for sharing your question to us about the LG TV (50QNED74BUA). The TV weighs 18.1lbs without the stand and 18.3lbs with the stand attached. For mounting, the packaging weight is 23.1lbs, and it requires a 300 × 200 mm VESA wall mount. This makes it relatively easy to handle and install, whether you’re setting it up on a tabletop or mounting it on the wall. • Included in the shipping box were two mysterious plastic clips, about 2" long, for which I could find no instructions. Do you know their intended purpose? Photo attached.

Regrettably, there is no photo attached to the inquiry you submitted to Best Buy about the "mysterious plastic clips" you are referring to that were included in the box with the LG 50" Class 74B Series QNED AI Mini LED 4K Smart webOS TV (2026), Model # 50QNED74BUA. You are probably referring to the clips that are used for cable management. They are designed to snap directly into specific, slightly larger ventilation slots located at the bottom-center on the back of your TV panel. Once snapped in, you can route your HDMI, power, or ethernet cables through them to keep them bundled tightly against the back of the TV...^Ivan.

  • Is this TV, the Lg 50QNED74BUA AKA Class 74B, really a mini-LED, or is it actually direct lit?

The LG 50" Class 74B Series QNED AI Mini LED 4K Smart webOS TV (2026), Model # 50QNED74BUA, is both a Mini-LED that utilizes a Direct Lit backlight structure. It is classified as an LG QNED MiniLED TV, which uses quantum dot and NanoCell layers combined with Mini LED backlighting for brighter highlights and deeper blacks. Its backlight configuration is explicitly listed as Direct Lit, meaning the Mini LEDs are placed directly behind the screen rather than along the edges...^Ivan.
