For someone who is a baker, our last double oven was a huge disappointment. Neither oven ever worked properly and retained temperature (and the company did NOT stand behind it). Considering we were cooking at our house, it was a monumental leap to buy a new range ten days before Thanksgiving. We were taking NO chances this time and had Best Buy install it, and took out the extended Warranty (both of which were reasonably priced). We can now happily say one of the things we were grateful for was the new LG Double-Oven. Turkey breasts came out with crispy skin, moist and delicious (and ON TIME). I love the continuous grates on top. They are beefy, but not so heavy I dread picking them up to wipe the top or having to clean them. The grates are uniform and not so far apart I worry about pots or pans fitting poorly and dropping through a big gap in the grate. I also LOVE the musical alerts! It will pleasantly catch your attention, but won't make you jump out of your skin with a nasty buzzer or annoying monotone dinging. There is a learning curve because it's new and different from the last one, but overall we are VERY happy with the purchase. Hubby commented on the construction as it is far superior compared to the flimsy areas on last one. I have only one complaint so far and it is the back burner on the left side of the range. While it is fine for skillets and pans, the control panel guard extends far enough so that some pots I used on that burner on the old range, will not fit on this new one. That having been said, I was glad there IS a beefy control panel guard piece of metal. High temperatures and electronic components do not exactly play well together, so the guard is needed. Maybe in time, the control panel will not need to be so thick and both it and the guard will sit farther back from the actual cooking and oven venting areas of the range. In the meantime, there are other burners to use. There are still many other options to explore, but right now a few weeks in, we are simply delighted. Holiday cookie baking is next week and we'll see how it goes, but we are excited and optimistic about the outcome. After using my old range for over 20 yrs., I decided to upgrade to this LG dbl oven range & couldn't be happier. I researched many other brands for about 3 months but kept coming back to this one. Yes, the interior IS a bright blue & having 5 burners is such a handy feature. I did use the griddle (comes with) & was very pleased with the outcome. Cooked the 16 lb stuffed holiday turkey using convection oven & it came out moist in less time than the conventional oven. You can even use the convection oven on regular cook. Everything about this cook center is exactly as stated & then some. Easy to use & easy to clean.

This stove/range is amazing! We shopped long and hard and settled on this one. The delivery and setup was quick and easy, and they hauled away our old broken one! I’m able to cook a large (24 lb) Turkey in the bottom oven, while making pies and rolls in the top oven. A breeze to use as well as everything is easily understood in the menu options area.

We bought this oven to replace a still working Maytag Gemini double gas oven that wasn't stainless steel. Our biggest points of contention with it so far are: 1 - The temperature in both ovens is incorrect. We knew there was an issue with the top oven when I baked a cake from scratch that I've been baking my entire life. It always took 24 minutes to bake with every oven I've ever owned but with this oven, at 30 minutes, it still wasn't done. That prompted us to by an oven thermometer. We knew there was an issue the bottom oven when we baked our Christmas 10 lb. half bone-in ham and it took significantly longer to bake than it should have (more than an hour longer than the maximum time based on how we'd prepped it). We found out both of our ovens are more than 25º cooler than what we set them at. We know that the bottom oven automatically reduces the temperature by 25º for convection baking, this was more than 25º cooler than the adjusted temperature. The temperature issue appears to be correctable based on what we've found in the owner's manual but we haven't made the adjustments yet. 2 - All of oven racks are extremely difficult to pull out and push back in. Often times I have to pull it out maybe ½" on one side, then switch to the other side and keep alternating until I pull the rack out enough. By that time, I've lost a lot of heat in the oven and the shimmying, when making something that you don't want moving around a lot, isn't good at all. It seems impossible to pull any of the racks straight out without the shimmying. My Maytag Gemini came with 1 EZ Glide rack and 2 regular racks, all of which were very easy to pull out and push back in. 3 - This oven is significantly more expensive than our Maytag Gemini was. We knew when we bought it that it didn't come with an EZ Glide rack but for the price, it would've been nice if they would've included 1 or even 2 especially since the racks are so hard to maneuver. We tried using our old EZ Glide rack in the LG oven not thinking it would work and it didn't work. The rack was a completely different width. The things we love so far: 1 - We love that both ovens are the same width, so we can use the rack from the upper oven in the lower oven when we're baking something like cookies, giving us 3 racks in the lower oven. In my Maytag Gemini, the upper oven wasn't as wide as the lower oven so the racks weren't interchangeable. 2 - We haven't needed to clean the ovens yet but we love that there are multiple options for self cleaning. 3 - We love the placement of the control knobs for the burners. We saw many reviews complaining about how easy they are to accidentally turn on. We've tried to 'accidentally' turn them on and haven't been able to. You have to push them in before turning them and we haven't successfully done it yet, so to us, they don't seem very easy to accidentally turn on. Also, with them being placed on the front, it allows more space for the burners. On our Maytag Gemini, the control knobs for the burners were to the right of the burners, which took up space on the stove top. 4 - We love the configuration of the burners. We've used them all and they all work great. We can even place our cast iron griddle perfectly on top of the center burner for much more even cooking than we got with our Maytag Gemini. For that stove, we had to position the griddle on top of 3 different burners and there were several cold spots between the burners. 5 - We love how raised the grates are above the stove top. My husband is 6'4" and I'm 5'10" so every little bit of height makes it so we don't have to crouch as much while cooking. 6 - We love how easy we can clean the stove top. More of it can be cleaned than with our Maytag Gemini because more components on the stove top can be removed. We know there are still many more features to explore and once we adjust the temperature in the ovens things will bake better. I hope I can find a simple resolution for the oven racks because depending on what I'm making, that can be a fairly big issue. Overall, we mostly like the purchase. I'm a little nervous about cooking a 23 or 24 lb. turkey in the bottom oven based on the other reviews saying you can't fit something that big in the bottom oven but that's something we won't try until the 2021 holiday season.

We purchased our first dual gas oven years ago . It was a high-end Frigidaire that had a stainless top that functioned great for many years. Still it had problems. Over the years the stainless top and front became a nuisance. It was almost impossible to clean caked-on spilled food without scratching the surface. Also, the knobs never sat tightly and were always loose. It was difficult to get a precise flame and it was far too easy to accidently turn or knock off the knobs. Once the Frigidaire started to fail, we looked for a replacement. Our only criteria was that the top not be stainless and the knobs sat tightly on the posts. We have had great experiences with LG appliances in the past, o thiss model was one of the first we assessed. The LG was delivered two weeks ago and so far, we love it. The black top looks far better than our old stainless and the knobs are tight and take just the right amount of pressure to turn. We also love that the knobs are a bit recessed. The only thing we don't like are the racks. They seem much cheaper than the rest of the oven. They are lightweight and take a lot of manipulating to move them in and out. The racks on the Frigidaire were solid and easy to move in and out. Also, the LG only comes with 2 racks - the Frigidaire had 3 (one of which was a sliding rack). We haven't been through a cleaning cycle yet so I may return to update this review later.

Love this double oven feature. Gas burners are a bit bulky and will of course require daily cleaning, but I really like the styling and it’s user friendly. The bottom convection option is awesome and we didn’t need to pay extra for the propane conversion since we have natural gas.

Amazing range! So glad we finally got a double oven, it’s so convenient to have the option to cook two items at different temperatures. The gas stove is extremely easy to use and cooks food fast. Would highly recommend!

PROS=I love the double oven and being able to cook 2 different things at different temperatures. Of course, heat escapes to the one not being used and I haven't checked either with an oven thermometer. That's all I like. CONS= NOT fingerprint resistant and shows every spot. You can't even buff it up to look clean. Brand new and looks old! I knew it wasn't fingerprint resistant when purchasing but didn't know just how bad it would be. NOT 5 burners unless you use very small pots on back burners! Can't use a frying pan on the back burners. See picture. There is a ledge that sticks out down the entire length under the panel by the back burners (what were they thinking). You can't center a pan on the burner because it sticks out so far. If you have a very low frying pan then it slides under this ledge which I think the heat will eventually cause the paint to start melting away not to mention the electronic panel. Not the best timer when you need a timer for the stovetop and not the oven. Lastly, don't think I'll make the cut for winning a gift card for this review :) but hope it helps someone make the right decision based on their needs.

This oven is great. Easy clean. Heats up real quick. Pro bake in bottom oven is great. Looks beautiful inside and out. Knobs are large and easy to use. Control panel is laid out nicely.

Nice to have double ovens... Still getting used to cooking with new oven so some things come out too crispy... One con is that the burner knobs turn on too easily that if you bump them on accident they can turn on

I bought this double oven because it makes sense since my kids are grown and on their own. My husband And I primarily just use the top oven. It's smaller so it Heats up quickly and if I need more space, Like for a larger dinner, I always have the bottom also. I've been cooking on electric for alt 30 years and decided to go with gas. And I didn't realize what I was missing. Gas cooks so much faster.

I LOVE this stove. The double oven is a cooks dream. There are no hot spots in either oven like our last one. The stovetop is very spacious and there is plenty of room even with all the burners being used. Highly recommend this model. We were very lucky that Best Buy could get it to us so fast as our last stove crapped out on us a week before Christmas.

I am so happy with this purchase!!! I love the double oven and the convection works fabulously!!! Delivery went smoothly and the gentlemen were great!!! I have been using it like crazy without any issues whatsoever. Happy with my purchase from Best Buy with ease, price, delivery and product!!!

This is a great stove with one exception; each burner is a different size. For all that is good, all stoves should have the same size burners. The double oven is a feature I was sure I'd like and I was right. The only downside is it's a booger to keep the stove top clean as splatter shows shows up significantly more than on a white stove.

Lovin this oven! Very nice features like when you open the door the oven light comes on automatically. Center burner is great for adding a griddle. The price was great also. Who doesn’t like to save money.

I love this oven. Purchased this 3 months ago. Bought it for the oven but now love the burners. There is a simmer burner and an ultra heat burner. You can leave something on low on the simmer burner and not worry about it. The ultra heat will boil water extremely fast. The 2 ovens are great. I love the convection bake or roast and if I don't want to use it I can pick regular bake, roast etc. Broiler is in top oven. Did purchase a small broiler pan separately. Broiler works great also.

I purchased this range approximately three weeks ago, to this point I am very satisfied with my purchase. The range looks very nice in my kitchen, the double oven feature saved a lot of time preparing Thanksgiving dinner.

Since purchasing our house, we've replaced the laundry machines, refrigerator, and now the stove/oven and Best Buy has been with us for each step! We've become an LG fan with our other purchases and appreciated the recommendations from the staff. Since we've brought our oven home, we're impressed by the sleek design, the functionality with the dual timer that comes with the dual oven, and the speed in which it takes to preheat. Our kiddo has found lighting up the stove top and making breakfast an actual pleasure and I find more time for fun since my baking time is cut in half with the dual oven! Very excited about our meals and parties in the years ahead with this stove/oven being our main attraction!

We love our range. Hd the orifices changed to propane by the plumber and got them from LG far cheaper than what saw on Amazon (as sales rep had suggested). The 2 ovens work differently and are good for different items. Also love the 5 different powered spaces on the cooktop. Just loving it overall… although hubby has become a fanatic about keeping it cleaned off. Im good with that ;-) Did buy a ‘scratch/dent/openbox’ so got at reduced price, but would be worth full price as well!

Love the dual stove capability. It will be a time saver. Has easy button for pizza. Self cleaning. Over all happy with the purchase.
